No need to take risk to request for withdrawal, as you can use ShopeePay at DuitNow QR merchants after 30/11/2020.

Yes, I will use ShopeePay or TNG wallet at DuitNow QR merchants, not always I must use a credit/debit card.
I believe it will be as good as SarawakPay.

Wait for a while, there are already Maybank QRPay merchants around.

Keep the money in ShopeePay and use it on 12/12 promos or DuitNow QR merchants (from 30/11/20). You can use ShopeePay to pay utilities and buy food at Shopee App as well.
Forget the withdrawal feature, unless you have no intention to use credit card to buy things at Shopee in the future.

Allowed but you would eventually find Credit card is no longer a payment method. So in the future, use online banking to top up Shopee Pay or pay Shopee.

Beg Shopee CS, he will give you a chance to survive. But you need to wait, don't hope too much for 12/12 spending.

Scan & Pay (formerly known as Maybank QRPay) now adopts the DuitNow QR code standard. All QRPayBiz merchants can now accept payments from the Maybank2u MY app, the all-new app – MAE by Maybank2u, and mobile apps from participating banks and e-wallets using a single, unified Maybank QR code.

I haven't tried, I am not so interested to try at this moment just because I have a MAE account (4x Cashbacks campaign is going on).

Your credit balance is with Shopee pay (Airpay Malaysia Sdn Bhd) not Shopee.
Shopee is not allowed to use your fund in ShopeePay, it is regulated by Bank Negara.
You can use ShopeePay money at DuitNow QR merchants (almost everywhere in Malaysia) since 30/11/20, not only at Shopee.

New thing. I haven't tried.
Wait for a while, maybe after 15/12/20 when TNG wallet and GrabPay join in the Duitnow QR network, the payment process will be smooth.


Try the yellow Maybank QRPay merchants as well, it is a part of pink DuitNow QR network.

I distribute my money from principal ShopeePay account into several ShopeePay accounts. Top up the principal ShopeePay account when there is CC/DC campaign, total credit balance >RM1000 tomorrow (my 3rd transaction for PB CC's 5xRM100 campaign). I have >15000 coins, sure I will spend >RM600 in the next 4 months. I can buy Setel credit, I can pay for my electricity/water, just in case I don't have anything to buy. But Shopee Farm is giving me RM3 voucher (no minimum spend) every few days per Shopee account, (hardly getting a chance to plant "mobile reload"), maybe I should claim free pizza to stop me buying at Shopee, hahaha.

Alamak +12 coins only 4 days in a row, just completed my PB's 4th RM100 transaction, 1 more to go.

Merchant QR, Bank is charging a fee for transactions.
Personal QR is for fund transfer only, no charges.


Try yellow Maybank QRPay (Scan and Pay), it is a big part of DuitNow QR. Yellow one is almost everywhere.

From my experience using Unionpay QR, I tell the cashier I want to pay by using Unionpay QR, doesn't matter I use Boost App or Gopayz App or SarawakPay App.

I assume it is similar to DuitNow QR.

We may have to educate the cashier as he/she may be too fresh to DuitNow QR / Unionpay QR.
