Triton 300 uses same cooling as Nitro 5, not recommended as in order to achieve acceptable thermals, you need to turn on max fans

*
Thanks bro. I just google how the Nitro and Triton thermal looks like vs the good one. It is the same heatsink flow into just 1 side of the dual fan instead 2 separate fan on opposite side.

Btw how about Asus Strix G model? The G531GT come with GTX1650. But the thing is even the display 120hz, it is anti-glare panel with 45%NTSC (67% sRGB). Will the display look dull and wash out?

Im actually not into photography or editing. I just want the vibrant and rich color display during Netflix and gaming

45% NTSC will look washed out

Well looks like 144Hz 72% NTSC is also a special feature nowadays, hard to find in newer models. Blame those low quality 120Hz 45% NTSC panels.

If u really want 144Hz 72%, Triton 300 might be the best option unfortunately, since the next model with this panel will be around, if not more than RM4k. Unless you're fine with older hardware (which I don't recommend)

Components like CPU&GPU run hot (might not good for longevity), poor performance

Those are decent models, however Asus laptops nowadays don't have good QC+QA+aftersales

Hello! I'm looking for a gaming laptop too, was wondering if there's an updated list of recommendation since the initial post or would that still be valid for the current market. Thanks for the help in advance! notworthy.gif

While I'm interested in the Lenovo Legion Y540, and I understand it's difficult to predict, do you think now is a good time to purchase laptops because of the current circumstances? Would prices go up or down?

Would it be more worthwhile to wait 1-2 months, and what for actually?
