I have checked out dell's g7 which is within my price range. is it good? it comes with rtx 2070 with max-q design, but have no idea what is this max-q about... LOL... is it something good or lower level?

need to use in about 1-2 weeks time latest

what's the main drawback on the bad cooling problem?

how about the ROG strix scar 3 or hero 3, are these good?

I guess it all boils down to what spec you bought and what games you will be playing 5 years down the road
