QUOTE(CookiePirate @ May 24 2020, 02:53 PM) Thermals is slightly improved compared to last gen (Y540), though 7nm have poorer heat dissipation (expect higher temp under same power limit compared to Intel). Battery life 5-6 hrs for 60Wh, around 8 hrs for 80Wh (choose SSD in first storage in the customization page to get 80Wh). At this price range you won't get big battery in a gaming laptopI'm considering it also but it doesn't have 144Hz 100%sRGB This post has been edited by ZM Fong: May 24 2020, 03:00 PM |

Thinking if I should go for Asus Zephyrus G15 or customise an Illegear Onyx V.
Going to be using the laptop for 4-5 years down the road. |

I mainly use the laptop for some normal gaming (dota,LoL,poe) and software like Photoshop,AI,After Effect,Blender,Maya. My budget max is around rm4.5k Just wanted to ask for some is it ok to last at least 3 years in my college life? or have better option for other laptop. thank you in advance for suggestion |

May I know many storage SSD is good enough? Will it be cheaper if I upgrade RAM & SSD outside? at least 256GB SSD, the RAM&SSD upgrades in the customization page are priced low, therefore manual upgrade isn't needednote that you can get 80Wh battery by selecting SSD in first storage option This post has been edited by ZM Fong: May 25 2020, 01:19 PM |
