Thanks for this great post!
I got some question. 1. Something like Lenovo Thinkpad T490, is still able to addon 1 more HDD? Normally in the website is main HDD is SSD. After that, I can mod it to add more HDD? 2. I saw Thinkpad E series is far more cheaper, due to AMD? What is cons of AMD if comparing with Intel? 3. Do you have any good article about diff Thinkpad E/L/T series? And diff T490/T490s/T5xx ? Thanks! |

AMD models are having promo now, that's why prices are cheaper (16GB RAM and 512GB SSD upgrades are cheap). Ryzen mobile APUs are decent, even though current 12nm ones lose out a bit in single core load, they usually have higher power limits which can sustain higher performance in longer loads 3. In general, P/T>X>L>E. T490s uses higher quality material (T490/T590 is still excellent) https://www.reddit.com/r/thinkpad/comments/...internally_and/ |

My order is stuck now.
An import license is missing and is required for clearance. Oct 10, 2019 10:57 am Sepang, Malaysia After searching, this is a common occurrence for Lenovo orders. I hope it will not be stuck there for a long time. |

Hi all,
Good day. Just want to ask, between Asus UM462D and HP envy x360 13AR0094AU, which one is the better offer? Both also with AMD Ryzen 5 3500U, but hp comes with smaller SSD and cost few hundred bucks. What difference makes it costs more than Asus? |

Hi, I was looking at this pc - https://tmt.my/product/thunderobot-911-air-...ptop-demo-unit/
It's not a well-known brand, and also I'm afraid I couldn't find any after sales service if any problem 🤔 + it a demo unit. But cause it has the spec I need for long term use and some minor gaming. I'm also looking at HP Pavilion Gaming 15-DK0010TX (with upgrade of ram & ssd) and Lenovo Legion Y530 (with upgrade of ssd). The price are similar for these models, range from RM2800 - RM3300. What would you recommend? This post has been edited by leeling16: Oct 13 2019, 09:51 AM |

Actually, considering between the XPS 13, HP Spectre x360 and Envy right now. (open to other good options)
I'm looking for 1. Something light 2. Preferably with touchscreen (no also can lah) Unfortunately the normal XPS 13 doesn't come with the touchscreen option, the 2-in-1 does though, cannot upgrade storage unless choose the i7 option too Price difference between the XPS 13 7390 2-in-1 with the Spectre x360 is a lot too. Can give some advice, sifu? Also does anyone know how are the after-sale services for Dell or HP? Saw your first post for QC rank, does that include service? |
