Fine with 14 inch?
Fine with max 1.5kg?
No preference on battery life?
Mind low sRGB display and non-upgradeable RAM?

Am using the 50YA model with MX250. This laptop is good for work productivity. Not so much on gaming.

The good thing about this laptop is its aesthetics and weight, and not forgetting its high sRGB.

You plan on getting one?

My wife responses:
OK with 14 inch screen
Prefer 1.3kg max weight
Prefer 10hrs minimum battery life
Don't mind with low sRGB
Prefer minimum 8G RAM and don't mind with non upgradable RAM

No need upgrade to i7, use 20% code if can (or the original code if it provides the same discount)

54G or 55G? 54G: low sRGB+upgradeble RAM; 55G: high sRGB+soldered RAM

Lenovo Ideapad 720s 13 Intel 81BV000BMJ / CMJ
Asus UX362F-AEL294T
Asus UX331F-ALEG010T

10 hrs battery life is a bit unrealistic tbh

I would suggest going up to 3.3k and get Thinkpad X390 with LENXCIMB code. Business grade
