Got myself a T590. Glad that it has a 3 year warranty. Looking to use this one for a long long time.

Traded it with my gaming laptop and top-up a bit. But seems like from the Lenovo website you can get it now for below 4k.

Hi Sifu, can you let.me know what's the difference between T495 vs T495s?

Also, would you recommend upgrading CPU to Ryzen 7 Pro 3700U or maintaining at Ryzen 5 Pro 3500U?

Thanks!

T495s: thinner+lighter, non-upgradeable RAM, less cooling room+lower power limits (18w)

Only get R7 if you really need the extra iGPU performance, otherwise R7 not worth it

Hi, would you be able to help me to recommend a notebook:
1. I am looking for thinkpad brand, but not sure yet on which model. Can be T series or X series or other series, up to X1 carbon.
2. Budget can vary from 4k to 8k. It doesn't have to be the cheapest or the most expensive, but the optimal or the best spec for the given price.
3. Processor can be i5 or i7, 8th gen or 10th gen I think doesn't really matter. But memory needs to be 16gb and hdd minimum 512ssd, or 1tb ssd.
4. Daily usage for heavy surfing, can open many windows, 24 hours download torrent, watch movies, and light gaming.
5. Need recommendation on where to buy with the cheapest price, or lower than retail price with reliable shop.
Many thanks in advance.

May I know what games do you play? Preferred max weight in kg?

Most of the time Thinkpads need to be bought from Lenovo website
