just got my raven se, gtx1650 with i5 n 8gb ram config. my questions are:

1. while playing gta v,im only managed to get max 30 fps max, even at lowest setting. is there anything that i should do to increase the frame rate?
2. as the battery is irremovable, how to prolong battery life? for other brand like lenovo,we can set the laptop not to fully charged ,so u can minimize be battery wear n tear despite of its being charged

Plenty of ports mentioned - any of them thunderbolt 3?
*
Hi Xnet, Currently most of our lineups does not have thunderbolt 3 feature connectivity currently, however our desktop replacement lineups has thunderbolt 3 feature connectivity. Hope this clarifies.

Hi mfahdr May i know if you plugged in the charger while playing games? In addition, upon charging full, the laptop will use the direct power from the adapter, hence it has the built in cut off mechanism, to minimize the battery wear and tear. Hope this clarifies.

1. Is it plugged in?
2. Keep it at 30-70% if possible, if plugged in most of the time then keeping at 100% is OK (not ideal but this is the best way)

1. yes

2. apparently, there's no built in software to enable me to charge the battery laptop as suggested by you, unlike lenovo. Unless if i unplugged the laptop once it reach (i.e 70%), and use its own battery to power up the laptop

Hi imalmighty We do not include a recovery partition upon assembly of the custom laptops, however, Windows OS itself has a reset/recovery point upon installation as a fresh operating system by default. In addition, we can provide the driver links for you to reinstall if necessary. Hope this clarifies.

Now you guys offer free dual channel RAM upgrades. I give you a like for that. It used be a single 16GB stick which hamper performance in games.
May i just suggest you guys to start offering the newer Intel wireless card instead of the Intel 9560 which is abit too long in the tooth? You should start offering Intel AX200 wifi adaptor . It is not that expensive to begin with. Im sure your customers dont mind paying for it.

A weekness of the Raven in my opioion is the speakers. So when I saw a Facebook post from Illegear about their new support page, I thought I would try to update my audio driver.

Just downloaded the latest "Audio" drivers for my Raven i5-8300H, GTX 1050 from support.illegear.com

Installation was a little complicated requiring multiple restarts and after it finally successfully installed I notice that speakers sounded better.

However both Sound Blaster Connect and Realtek Audio Console is now broken.
Realtek Audio Console says that it "dosen't support for this machine" and Sound Blaster Connect now says "Your audio device cannot be detected. Please check your connection". To be honest I don't care either applications and both were quite useless to me.

Just wanted to share my latest update on my Raven.

Any quality issue with illegear… illegear use to be price very competitive but it seems that some major oem like hp lenovo has catch up to illegear in term of pricing and some shockingly even cheaper! So what are the advantage of going with illegear instead of major oem like hp lenovo which has service centre around malaysia? Is illegear qc top notch? Kindly provide some feedback. Tq!

Consumer grade QC...what do you aspect...almost the same with most brands

If you want best QC - premium business laptop/workstation

(also QC isn't determined by Illegear, it depends on ODM)

Hi theonecafe Thank you for your inquiries. ILLEGEAR laptops are tested in ODM factory levels and also re-tested using stress testing tools on our end again upon assembly of each order. To ensure the quality check of our laptops before delivering it out. Hope this clarifies.
