Of course, once put in a router it is considered as "hotspot". You can only use unlimited on the mobile phone.

Top Huawei LTE-A/4G+ router so far (2019)
1st place - B618
2nd place - B528
3rd place - E5186
4th place - B525

I need band 5, is there other alternative than b618 & b525?
*
b528 is better than b525?
why b525 is much more expensive?

I’m testing my new b618, Are there any problem with this upload speed? It seems so low. I’m currently using Maxisone Prime 98.

My old b310 can give me a stable 30Mbps download & 20+Mbps upload speed.

Anyone has similar issue with mine? I have no problem connecting to 5Ghz and Speedtest download and upload is smooth and ok. But it becomes very slow when I connect to 2.4ghz. Very slow as in I can get 50++mbps in 5Ghz but only get 1mbps in 2.4ghz.

The reason I asking this is my tv box only support 2.4ghz and it super slow can’t even watch sometimes keep buffering.

It is quite common, as 2.4GHz is very congested and is full of interference. You can try buying a powerline and connecting it to 5GHz, and then connecting to the powerline via Ethernet to your TV box. That's the only option.

Got a question guys

1. Got any different between b618-55d and b618s-55d? Noticed that my modem with unifi air is b618s-55d
2. How to lock band?
3. Any suggestion what antenna should I use for this modem? My signal currently is orange.

sorry to ask this noob question. If I were to manually disable auto update, wouldn't that make 22d a feasible modem?

even you bought not officially locked unit.
you cant conform future they wont do like celcom force update their early 22D unit to locked sim(yea, it heard it correctly, force update even you untick auto update)

so you even you buy T-mobile unlock unit, suggest mod it prevent shinanigans happen.

are you saying that if i mod it with some firmware or tools, this would block auto update entirely?
