QUOTE(p1p @ May 29 2019, 09:45 AM) I'm new to this B618-22d router. You can use 2 ssid. But I Don think B618 support wifi signal for us, so it still spread signal omnidirectionalWill enabling two SSID at 2.4GHz help with speeds for individual devices? Say SSID 1 is shooting Eastwards 30 metres to clients. Can I direct / focus the antenna to provide my 2.4GHz device on SSID 2 Westwards from the router? Sorry if this has been answered. |

QUOTE(duckmanV @ Jul 26 2019, 02:45 PM) I get maximum 20mbps with Huawei B315S-22 with band 3 + 7 (I used the app from TS) sometimes 1mbps You didt get benefit from CA as your modem single band only. Does it increase my speed(Mbps) and stable low ping? For my area, band 3 sometime good only mostly gg. So I lock band 7 can 80-100 single band. So you need band by band test. So don't believe there have a fix way to get maximum speed. |

QUOTE(duckmanV @ Jul 27 2019, 01:31 PM) Not sure yet if B618 worth or not? based on this, Bro. With honest call. You test with your current device will be better then buy 618 blindly.![]() what do you guys think after upgrade to B618? I'm using maxis broadband btw with B315S-22 and getting 10Mbps DL Switching around band and test... If band speed was OK. Then you can think about change modem otherwise don't. |

QUOTE(duckmanV @ Jul 27 2019, 01:58 PM) I tested all available band, all i can get is 1mbps - 15mbps that's is the reason i wanna jump !! :C I see. If you tested on fastest band on modem only get 15mbps download then I Don think worth to upgrade.Because at my home. I get 15mbps with my Mate 20 Pro with prepaid sim without lock band(and I sure it not locked to fastest) So I straight buy b618 and switch i150 now constantly get 60+. If network less user condition I can get about 100-120 with one band. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Aug 22 2019, 09:37 AM) Yea. My ping is high till over meter... I think my area tower is ancient. I even can see the rust up there. Mean the equipment already up there for years and nobody touch them in recent weeks or months. I still accept the high ping. If me wanna play online(which less likely) I switch to 8m streamyx. Also I think 5g will came to my area faster then Fibre do lol..... |

QUOTE(Xaser_3 @ Oct 8 2019, 08:26 AM) Yes it is most unfortunate. Earlier, I was also searching high and low for ways to upgrade my 65d firmware to v81 but with no luck. Current I not suggest anyone whatever non lock 65d or 22d doing any update.I also cannot understand why unlock units aren't able to upgrade to the latest official firmware. I believe they should be the same units sold between the two platforms. As both celcom and tm on going their shenanigans, can foresee future 65d get locked actually..... So disable the update, at least protect your own assets. This post has been edited by josh5671: Oct 8 2019, 10:13 AM |

QUOTE(Xaser_3 @ Oct 8 2019, 11:21 AM) This is really crap, especially for those who bought unlocked unit. Well, I better disable my auto update just to play it safe. Disable the critical update. I think there got 3 update related tick. All untick for safe. Better safe then sorry. Because one day tm change mind. Will be like celcom old 22d overnight locked. |

QUOTE(sparrowed @ Apr 23 2020, 09:05 PM) sorry to ask this noob question. If I were to manually disable auto update, wouldn't that make 22d a feasible modem? even you bought not officially locked unit.you cant conform future they wont do like celcom force update their early 22D unit to locked sim(yea, it heard it correctly, force update even you untick auto update) so you even you buy T-mobile unlock unit, suggest mod it prevent shinanigans happen. |

QUOTE(alextan99 @ Jul 17 2020, 09:34 AM) Oh..i forget. As I using digi i150 never thinking about that.So that need refer to FuP. Telco mostly can detect, they didn't take action only. And if this condition go too worse. At the end they will. |
