The 22d batch from Celcom is sim-locked. You cant use other telco's sim card. Even if your contract has been terminated/finished, there's no guide or ways stated at any celcom official communication or platform or terms and condition on how to unlock the router. You may need to contact them directly on how to unlock this router afterwards, if there's a way.
On the other hand, 65d (Unifi set) is working for all telcos.

8) Latest Firmware (warning. Only tested to be OK with 22d. 65d kindly avoid if you're worried about bricking your modem)

Fine Details on Termination - Celcom and TM Terms and Condition

Celcom
Termination can only be done at Blue Cube.
Policy of 30 days - If you terminate before 30 days, the penalty of RM499+GST will be taken if you dont return the modem. No charge if u return a good working modem.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Contract - Contract 2 years can be terminated by paying penalty using the calculation below.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

With that, eventhough you have a contract for 2 years, you can still terminate with less than RM499 (although you may need to pay monthly subscription tho).

Is it wiser to terminate later than terminate within 30 days to own the router?
Its basically up to you. Most of us, already have other carrier/internet plan. Thus, its wisely to terminate within 30 days compared to paying monthly RM70 eventhough you are paying cheaper termination penalty

PDF format (as seen on 7/4/18)

Unifi
You can terminate through live chat (recommended). Live Chat Link
The modem may not need to be returned and no penalty.

Can you terminate straight away/same day for Unifi?
Yes you can. RM0.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

No u cant. Starting from 1st August, TM need at least 30 days for termination notice at live chat.
Meanwhile for Celcom set, u can terminate it within 30 days without penalty (returned modem) or reducing balance (after 30 days free period)

Yes this 1 what I did, terminated on the same day

U can try claim it back or like Alex said, just pay it.
It was supposed to be free. I do also experience need to pay until I live chat again and provide proof of previous screenshot saying it's free. They waive the charges after that.

install hmanager apps on android phone.

not sure which ver apps u are using is kind of like this
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Lock band is used in cause area network is congested/the certain band cause slow.

try first.
1. Click b3, and apply, monitor rsrp and sinr and do a speedtest
2. Click b7 and apply, monitor rsrp and sinr and do a speedtest
3. click both b3 n b7 apply for 4G+ available area, monitor rsrp and sinr and do a speedtest

Lock band call in/out will not workings..

If dont want to lock band just click back Auto or set via web ui 192.168.8.1 under network selection.

and do locate the modem around the house no matter higher place, lower place, beside of windows see which area is good reading of RSRP n SINR. it does effect speed too.
*
any links to the android apps?
will pinned at the front page

Hi just a quick question, Im using digi 150 infinite and planning to get this, from what i read i should get 65d, so just asking do i need to do some setup or just pnp? thanks.
*
u can get both. the reason i told 65d compared to 22d is because the celcom set is locked. unless u want ehem which cant be state here.

or else, it just the same for digi.

pnp. just setup the router wifi if u plan to change the wifi ssid/password

Some tried to unlock it using mod but failed. I need to put BiG warning at front page for those purchased at Celcom (first unlocked batch). Sorry fruitie about this. I think even modding fail to unlock the old unit back to unlock state.

What do you want to write for the big warning?
*
Those who are using Celcom Unit (unlocked) first batch which are using other sim card should avoid update their firmware ota, disable autoupdate and remove hilink apps

hilink apps in mobile phone right?
saw they discuss about it in fb, but lazy to check last night.
hopefully my 22d didn't update yet..  sweat.gif

Better do now.

Now i just noted, all unlocked celcom set either first barch or moded one are at risk of getting locked. Now the warning spread to all celcom set. GG

I'm just wondering how they managed to specify celcom set only to update rather than the whole 22d.

ya. saw the huawei privacy screenshot by some kena locked they are using IMEI and SN.Celcom should only give those with "locked version" one rather than the first batch unlock. And this is a breach of privacy for those who terminate their contract with celcom dy.

65d also might happen... some reported update lock... so careful and turn off the auto update function yea..to be safe if u are not using unifi mobile sim on the modem. just a safe/caution. by right 65d should't effected, but some report said they affected as well.
*
Only one reported case by a modder. Possibly the only 65d imei/sn available at celcom list?

So far, no 65d user reporting locked router from the poll conducted at he fb group yet.
