Yesterday still november

I noticed once enter new month..speed will back to 7mbps...
After usage around 50gb..it will slow half the speed
*
That is speed shaping based on data usage. Did they mention anything about their fair use policy or is it meant to be unlimited?

Bad connection all sudden, my SINR usually at 17.

Is Unifi Air now supporting intra band 40? And it shows as FDD, no more TDD.

why bother 4G+ if speed so ayam..
But somehow i see the trend that unifi will capped speed after certain usage

yesterday my max speed only 4mbps

today it back ti 7.8mbps..

I test Unifi Air + B618 near Band 5 tower.
Download Speed can up to 20mbps, some time drop to 2mbps.
Almost at 10mbps around.

But at my home, only 0.5-2mbps, midnight can up to 5mbps. blink.gif

At least that is considered good news they will expand their fiber coverage to your taman. Some places, waited for so many years already, still nothing done. I guess it really depends on the demand of the housing area.

Ya that true, they really marketing which place got demand then will port fiber. No demand area, using 4G loh. blink.gif

Luckily there is 4G/LTE mobile internet as an alternative for those without access to fiber infrastructure. I am not bothered with fiber any more but more looking forward to 5G when it is launched in 2021 🤞

For 5G will be Huawei's B818 router. Don't think it will be compatible with our current B618

For subscribers of unifi air when you experience slow speed try changing the apn from webebb to webe. Then use HManager to lock frequency to b5+b40 and set quick switch to auto. Make sure 4g+ appears. After using apn webe for a while the speed may drop again. One can then switch back to apn webebb

Yes, the price will be cheaper upon mass adoption. Who know's by than, we would see 2nd or 3rd generation of 5G modems. Which is also the reason why I didn't get a 5G phone yet although it is already available in the market now.
