currently local telco only support 2CA.
speed? which one faster? varies... like is the area tower congested or not

as for hotspot, i'd rather use b618 as the router instead of phone. heat can kill your phone battery faster.

Ic. I understand this is a thread for Huawei b618 but I would like to ask about you guys opinion on Huawei wifi 2 pro e5885.

Spec wise it is cat 6 supported with portability and it supported band 5, 40 and even 38 which is not supported by Huawei 618 V2. Anyone have try this and any feedback?

I'm trying Digi Prepaid RM28 at B618, Huawei Nova 2i can get 25mbps, LAN to PC can speed 60mbps around.
Is that B618-65D will auto 2CA B3+B7? or need us manual lock band?
192.168.8.1 Page show LTE-A(4G+) means my speed get 4G+ already? smile.gif

It's ridiculously crazy price now. I saw sellers price ranging from RM650 for the 22d to RM850 for the 65d.

If you leave it on auto, it will sometimes connect to B3+B7 which gives you 2CA and 4G+, but sometimes drop back to normal 4G which is slower. Locking the bands, ensure you stay connected to 2CA for constant 4G+ speeds.

Can try fast.com but all these Speedtest results are just reference. So long you can use it with no issue, then it's sufficient. biggrin.gif
My speed is quite fast compared to other users but my minimum requirement is I shouldn't have any buffering when it comes to streaming.

I feel you Bro, but this is mobile internet and we can't expect it to be stable like fiber internet. Streaming Full HD should be fine unless 4K content. Online gaming also doesn't perform so well with the occasional lag spikes and high pings 😓

At least that is considered good news they will expand their fiber coverage to your taman. Some places, waited for so many years already, still nothing done. I guess it really depends on the demand of the housing area.

That's NOT capped speed, it's more like network CONGESTION.
It's getting more people using unifi mobile or MAYBE the unifi AIR is using the same tower.
