Anyone here enabled the LDWS, FCWS feature? How's your experienced.. I've used viofo a119 for 3 years already, but never try the ldws and fcws feature. lol..  The dashcam still works fine but i can see the sdcard starts giving a corrupted file.. Maybe the sdcard is too old already, or maybe because i've never reformat it for very long time, at least over a year.. biggrin.gif

Hi, please check the corrupted file was it happen everytime after engine off?

Observe the red LED light on the camera power button. Once you switched off engine, it should be still lit for 2-3sec.

Your issue is more on camera capacitor need replacement or the memory card itself.

Have to see the tint's darkness. Maybe can go over to Sicurez for them to check it out and advice you on this.

Nowadays is good to have front and rear dashcams. Not just front only d laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

Very old model d. Don't think many make this model now? Can look at newer budget model like B1W or A119. Viofo have updated their G1WS with wifi.

Depends on each individual on their leceh level. I prefer to take out the sd card and use an OTG card reader on my phone to watch than use wifi.

The A118c/b40c i found for rm120+ while the B1W for rm160+. For these two, what would you suggest, i saw video samples, looks like the a118c video is a bit better than the B1w? Or is it more or less the same.

And found out, got new? model for the B40, B40d that has dual camera for rm140+.

I guess there are still some companies make the A118c as it was the best-copied dashcam mold with some hardware changes a long time back.

The B40d is a "newer" model of the B40 then too. You'll need to test as I haven't got hold of the B40d before.

Hi sifus, need some advice...

My current setup is Mi Dashcam in front and Garmin GDR 45 in the back, but today the Garmin decided to call it quits and stuck in boot loop.

I have two choices, send the Garmin to repair and I plan to swap back the Garmin in front and Mi at the back because the Mi's mount is very loose and easily bumped into.

Or else, simply replace the Garmin with the 70mai pro or something else under RM800. What would sifus here recommend? How's the camera quality of 70mai pro compared to Garmin?

A129 Duo is best dual dashcam now for under rm1k.

Thinkware F770 is a premium Korean dual dashcam. Have accurate ADAS function, true parking mode, smart camera functions, etc.

If you want interior cam then go for A129 Duo IR which is using an infrared cam. Normal rear cam can't record well in the dark in the cabin. F770 also have optional IR cam.

GDR45 is a discontinued product on Garmin website. Still can send back for repairs?

Under rm800 can consider Viofo A129 Duo.

70mai is considered a budget dashcam.

I recently bought a119V3 from sicurez. I noticed when the dashcam starts up, there's no start up and beeping sound at all even though i've enabled it from the menu.

Is that supposed to happen?

I believe so, as last year my discontinued GBC 30 in my other car decided to die as well so Garmin sent it back to Taiwan to be repaired

How about Blackvue and Thinkware cameras? Any cheaper ones that can be recommended say less than 1.2 to 1.5k?

I suspect the lithium battery inside the Garmin died.

Thinkware can look at the models below (Sicurez Merdeka promo price):
F770 RM1599 with installations.
X700 RM1399 with installations. Same specs as F770. Need to buy GPS module separately.
F200 RM1099 with installations. Rear cam 720p. Need to buy GPS module separately.

Blackvue not that sure as no authorized distributor in Malaysia as most sellers bring their stock from Singapore.

The battery died a few months after purchase and wouldn't hold charge anymore and the parking recording function is kinda wonky so I already knew the battery is gone but it still continued to work fine

Right now it boots up normally, then freezes, and restarts but without the SD card it boots up just fine... the SD card works on my other cameras though so I doubt its the SD card but I tried to reformat the card and the camera worked for a while then went back into boot loop again

These are dual cams right? I don't intend to switch out both cameras though just keeping the Mi for rear and switching the Garmin if it cannot be/not recommended to be repaired

Yes, they are dual. Then you don't need to budget rm1.5k for single cam laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Look at A119v3

Can try to factory reset the A119 v3? Or reflash the firmware from viofo website?

If still cannot then bring back to Sicurez and see.

did a little more research and found out about DDPAI dashcam which look quite impressive; and consirdering the DDPAI mini 3. I like the discreet size like the Blueskysea; except functions look more advanced. Seems like i can get it for Rm420+ online. The downside is i have to learn to install the hardwire kit myself.

But another thing is warranty; and if anything goes wrong, likely can't get help to fix it. So wondering if dashcams break down easily?

Whats the difference between DDPAI mini 3 and this XIAOMI/DDPAI Mini ONE which seems like its just released?

Is this issue existed in the beginning or after some days?
