The only way to record in parking mode without hardwiring is by using battery pack. Not sure if Viofo can support battery pack from Thinkware or Blackvue, but mind you the price of Thinkware battery park is more expensive than the A129 duo dashcam.
When I spoke to Sam of Sicurez during my Thinkware installation, he told me normally those who install battery pack are drivers that worry of their car warranty or those driving hybrid
Can't wait for A119 v3 to be out. Next week can pre-order from Viofo.

The V3 version uses the same case as current A119 V2, but comes with totally different hardware, different chipset, sensor and lens.
It supports 2560 x 1600P, 2560 x 1440P 30fps, using Sony Stavis 5MP sensor, F1.5 aperture lens. Support ACC parking mode, buffered parking mode via GPS mount. Not support Wi-Fi and Remote Control.
The F800 pro is indeed an all rounder with built in GPS and Wifi. Not to mention the discreet design.
But got ppl like to compare price with iRoad and say iRoad is cheaper. But they never include the wifi or GPS module also. Once included will be about the same price as Thinkware.
I juust install the dual cam (front and rear) dashcam in my car.. but then i realised that after those installation, my radio reception (signal) become weaker.. what should i do in order to fix this issue?.
thinking of getting the 70mai pro. anybody here faced issues with the camera detached from the windscreen due to heat weakening the double faced tape? also, possible to replace the battery if it gets faulty from heat? thanks
Never happened before with good mounting tape. Unless you don't have any tint on your windscreen maybe can happen.
Can be replaced provided if you can get the same battery and if the battery is solder on or using sockets. But usually, no one does such service as not much profits for such services? Anyway best to get a capacitor dashcam instead.
