I haven't tested out the Sipii before.

I would recommend the Viofo A129 Duo more.

Non-true 4K recording is just 1080p scaled bigger to 4K video which is not clear. Best to record in the native resolution of the dashcam like 1080p or 1440p.

Already asked sometime back but didn't get a reply from the PIC of Malaysia after Korea replied

US markets dashcams are hard to get for reviews outside of USA.

Also the price of US$199 + US$4x shipping for front only 4K dashcam is too expensive.

You can still stick with the good old 1080p dashcams or go a step up to 1440p dashcams before jumping on to 4K dashcams.

Prices you'll need to research and see which dashcams you like.

Actually fast moving and dark environment cannot capture clearly no matter what resolution or FPS of the dashcams.



If parking mode is important then look at Korean dashcams like Thinkware as they are the #1 in true parking mode but expensive. The 1st China dashcam that almost got true parking mode is Viofo.

All those other dashcams that states parking is actually just continous recording in timelapse mode only. Read the 1st post for more info about the parking mode.

Viofo and Thinkware got an authorized distributor in Sunway, Sicurez. They sells and install dashcams in their premium store.

You can't bluetooth to an app. Only via wifi or hotspot can use an app to access the dashcam.

Sandisk Ultra is low quality. Will get spoilt faster when used in dashcams.

Get Samsung Evo Plus or the newer Sandisk Ultra A1 will be more durable in dashcams.

The newer Sandisk High Endurance is also good but more expensive.

High Endurance cards have warranty when used in dashcams and home cams whereas the other cards is not covered in warranty.

Technically it is no void warranty if use fusetap like what abubin share. But if the installer cut any wires while installing will void warranty.

Best to get installers who know how to install hardwire to dashcam.

Also will depends on the SC, some will close 1 eye while some will report in your car's record.

Drain will sure drain the car battery. But will depends on the dashcams.

The Viofo A119v3's parking mode is actually quite good. Best is still from Thinkware.

Can look for Sicurez in Sunway as they are the authorized distributor for Viofo and Thinkware dashcams in Malaysia. And they also do installations.

Why you want to use a battery pack with a 70mai?

Battery pack cost rm1k+ leh. Also the battery pack is also using the fuse via fuse taps to charge the battery.

Using a powerbank is dangerous. Battery pack for dashcam is using Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries. Not Lithium Ion batteries like powerbanks.

A119v2 already stop production by Viofo. Those available should be old stock.

Replaced by A119v3. without GPS is already priced at rm380 at Sicurez with 1 year warranty.

Can find cheaper in Aliexpress, Lazada or Shopee but most without warranty.

Viofo A129 Duo.

But wait a bit for the soon to be release A129 Plus Duo which is 1440p front cam and 1080p rear. Comes with built-in 16GB. Sensor using the same as A119 V3.

Got sellers in Lazada for A129 Duo. Sicurez is the authorized distributor for Viofo with 1 year 1 on 1 exchange warranty.

You can get from JNK Pro aka KIntos

Price is about rm600-700.

Can get cheaper about rm500+- but minus the warranty from China sellers during Lazada or Shopee sales.

Currently no copycat of Viofo dashcams.

Viofo A129 Duo is front and rear cam set. Should be sold as whole set.
