Usually, the battery guy will start your car engine then change your car battery to prevent all your car settings from resetting.

Your dashcam will be running like normal with the engine running.

Even if change car battery without engine running, the capacitor in the X9 will have all the settings retain. Only your car settings might have reset.

So it is normal? No need to do anything?

Sifu, is 70mai Pro using capacitor battery?.

Have my eye on the iRoad X9 as I like it's sleek design (not too bulky / big).

At the moment, try not to consider only iRoad first. You'll thank me later after you research more of it from other users.

Idiot Jazz driver

Got more and more idiots like this on the roads. Simply hog the lane and refuse to leave, causing slow driving behind them. This case shows an even dense driver that simply stops despite being the problem in the first.. I hope he’s made to pay for all the damages plus additional financial compensation and have license taken away.

so i got my old sport cam eken h9r used arround 3 years by my car dashcam
quality was good but currently i suffering the suction cup cannot tahan the weight of camera,i can't stick it ,even i put 3M double side tape also same result.
Anyone got modify this thing?

Heard it is available in Singapore but Korean firmware only... Hope got international version later...

Since last year started with true 4K dashcams. Now counting got 5 4K dashcams in the market. Or maybe more.

Thinkware U1000 - overall best features and functions
Viofo A129 Pro Duo - best video
Blackvue DR900S - so so
Vantrue X4 - haven't test
iRoad X10 - potential app problem

But do note got fake 4K dashcams. So you need to be careful of the specs.

Sad to say those ADAS from China dashcams are really annoying with the false alarms. Only Thinkware is the most accurate.
Go read my reviews and see for yourself the image quality.

iRoad needs to install the GPS module in order for the ADAS to work. But need to buy the GPS module.

I know the TX9's ADAS is almost as accurate as Thinkware's ADAS but the durability you know I know la.

All ADAS needs GPS to work.
