I wanted to replace the old dash cam in my old Altis. Lately, it was having a few hanging incidents in the camera recording. End up, no recording was done....

I would appreciate your valuable input to suggest for upgrading my dashcam.   

My criteria of new dashcam:

1) Using Capacitor only
2) At least 1080FHD for front and back camera record.
3) Night Sight Camera is preferred
4) Since this car does not comes with any reverse camera, prefer those dashcam comes with the display of rear view parking assistance
5) Budget is less than RM800.

All 3 are also using a supercapacitor.

The A119v3 is 2K only while the 2 is 4K. So left with Mini5 or B4K. I think Mini5 would be better as more features while the B4K is more of a budget 4K.
If parking mode then look at Thinkware dashcam. Can go to Sicurez in Sunway.

All 70mai is lithium-ion battery. Parking mode is "kena bang" then only starts recording.

Cannot compare with Korean dashcam parking mode. Only Viofo managed to copy it but not yet 100%.

Any recommended dashcam built into the car mirror/lcd screen together? My car ADAS system takes a considerable amount of space already and I do not want a conventional dashcam to eat more space..

Overheat due to too high a resolution...?

I see Thinkware devices majority are Full HDs only, anything above that will cost RM2k above...

I'm looking for durability coz I don't want to drive my car in and out of workshops just to spend money pull up and down cameras becoz they're unreliable...

Hi guys i hv just booked the new Myvi model H that will come without dashcam and reverse cam. Will appreciate any recommendation, better still a cam that can do both (dashcam & reverse cam), for a budget around 1k. Also will appreciate recommendation where to get it (including installation) around PJ area.

just upgrade z40 firmware to 7.1.1.10

once the app show update prompt, disconnect from z40 wifi since it does not have internet, then connect to data/home wifi to download the file, then re-connect to z40 again to flash the firmware

Does your Z40 has the GPS module? If yes, set the timezone to +8.
T700 - 1080p front and rear. dual-band wifi. LTE 4G.

X11 - 2K front and rear.
I was comparing the 4G features ma     T700 will notify me when got impact and I can live view.
