Hi, long story short.

-Currently cutting
-still caloric deficit
-had to totally gv up strenuous exercise and cardio on doctors orders.
-i'm already half way there, abs started showing

Can i still continue to lose fat without exercise BUT still in caloric deficit? 500 cal deficit a day. Had to gv up weights at least a month.

From what I remember we have to keep pushing heavy weights so we avoid losing muscle. Maybe I can slot in some weights but definitely no cardio. Is that possible to still lose fat?

IMO you need weight training in order to sustain the muscle while on a calorie deficit.

The body's main goal is to survive anyway. Calorie deficit but with weight training, itll tell itself that you need the muscle to survive. So instead of the muscle, it sheds the fat.

If you're on calorie deficit but without weight training, it will focus on shedding the unused muscle first.

No need to do calories deficit, I do low carb or keto eating lifestyle, didn't count calories at all and I didn't exercise for a year, from 56kg drop to 47kg. No exercise can lose weight one but not healthy, sometimes susceptible to cold, flu and fever.

I tried low carb and keto but I can't stand it, due to low energy and fatigue. I'm in caloric deficit now, and I still losing average 0.5kg per week, so I guess it's working.

I do few sessions metcon a week tho.

Oh, I eat like mountains of meats and vege on my plate when I do low carb or keto. When I crave carb, I make low carb bread, cake, cookies, desserts. Never really felt low energy but I do hear some people mention low energy like my mom. Some is because they lack electrolytes or they didn't do keto correctly. My mom surely didn't do it correctly. Well, every body types can react differently. Well, if low calories work for you, good for you. I never like low calories cause I like to eat a lot until I feel full, lol.

Oh, btw, I learned that nutritional yeast can up vitality. It is fully protein. A spoon or two a day is good. Can't overtake it, too much can cause red flush on face, overdose of niacin if not wrong.

umm... you misread? I am not on calories deficit, I eat 1000 to 2000 calories a day. If you mean deficit in carb's gram then yes. My carb were below 20g a day.

Don't like that la guys. Maybe she's 40kg and no exercise thus 1,000-2,000 not considered deficit.

Bukan nak troll ke ape. Unsure how non-caloric deficit diet can help losing weight hmm.gif

Scenario
1. eat 2k calories, absorbed 1.8k calories, spent 1.7k calories = gain (caloric surplus)
2. eat 2k calories, absorbed 1.8k calories, spent 2k calories = loss (caloric deficit)
3. eat 1.5k calories, absorbed 1.4k calories, spent 2k calories = loss (caloric deficit)

Be it keto / low carb / vegan / fasting / carb cycling diet / xyz, fundamentally it is still calories. Just different execution on how eating is being done.
I count wrong? Wrong logic?
If eat 2k, absorbed 1.8k, 200 goes as body waste, spent 1.7k, and still losing weight, where does 100 go? Got Alien tech beyond our human science?
I cannot brain it wei

Non credible source but this is what I've been taught in my physics class

If you're on X diet don't count the calorie input vs output, how do you explain your X diet is making you gain / loss.
Saying I am not on deficit by I am losing weight is like I don't work but I got money dropped from sky.

For sure you can do it, but you really just need to make it like a monstr. I mean real deficit of calories which may get back each time really. And something like even a bit of physical exercise needed anyway, I mean just for get you going, for your so called metabolism.
