I did enter a lounge in KLIA2 for domestic flight, but u need to walk out first ...

Penang ... once u enter boarding gate , pass through the scan, there is a PPL just infront waiting for u lol ...
but it's departure lah.

For arrival in KLIA2 , i remember once i pass through the baggage carrier place, go upstairs near a hotel, beside there has a PPL


They even include non-halal beverage free for u lolz

PPL at KLIA2 : RM 200++ for 3 H

Worth or not : Probably not worth it.

PBB Card : 3 Hour , but judging the lounge is like pasar malam .. they are unlikely to track your time ....

All the food/drinks : Yes , it's free. For Non muslim there is even draught for you to drink.

In some case of credit card that offers "Flight Club" as 1 lounge access, you will get 2 pax a la carte + 2 drinks, very suitable for people who want to share.
You forfeit 3 hours of buffet to stay with your friend (dont ditch them) at flight club for a 2 pax free meal, of course not worth it but you get to chit chat / people accompany you.

After i was transferred to Sabah, i just starting to use this benefit and gosh, lounge is now very crucial when i have a transit flight
It's like drugs, once you tried lounge access during transfer waiting time, you cant ignore it anymore.

But i thought now because of the MDR limitation of credit card, the credit card company start to slash benefits ?

I only saw more and more credit card giving so called "Free lounge access" with certain requirement.

I just treat it as free meal before transfer, can't rest properly there.

But i think that is the only PPL i can access when i travel domestic

PEN domestic is good, never ever has people to bother you, i use it once and it feel very exclusive because of low traffic.

However, it makes no sense for me to use PEN already when i'm working in KK and hometown is at Kedah .

Might try KK-KUL-Langkawi in future.

My experience in Penang Domestic is different than you all, it is not crowded at all, BUT the offering is very limited.

CIMB Travel Series offers Grab coupon as part of their transport service.

haven't visit for a time, things still remain the same haha

eg instead of getting lounge access, you get 2 meal set from a dining place.

And you get 2 sets.
So with 2 credit card, you can accommodate 4 pax in a dining place (fairly simple place i presume) , good for those family that has only 2x access (dad / mom) or had to accomodate a lot of family member (like grandfather/ grandmother) .

Its' an optional path.

I use 3x different card to redeem 6 sets of food, to accomodate family member, instead of making them wait randomly outside and i enter the lounge.

Also if you notice, only PPL in Malaysia is congested as heck.
I checked , not much credit card offers worldwide / regional PPL access, but there is a lot of card offering local PPL access (KLIA2 specially)

Banks knew that by lowering the requirement, most of their client only use it at KL / Domestic flight.
Maybe they able to brokered a very low entry price (afterall the food is like 3 star hotel-ish, not even offering seafood / stuff hahahaha)
