20/06/2020 (Sat) - Transfer RM500 from Simple to Port. SA record as "in progress" for withdrawal of RM500.50 (963.7974 X 0.5193).
23/06/2020 (Tue) - Simple sell order complete at 963.7974 X 0.5194 based on 22/06 closing price.
25/06/2020 (Thu) - Currency conversion complete. The buy order complete and can be view on 26/6/20.

No yet placing buy order

update later ... totally need 4 working day if using Simple Transfer. seem like IBG still the best option.


at this moment:
1. Port Asset details hv additional Cash recorded in USD.
2. Simple Asset details hv Eastspring Investments Islamic Income Fund with remaining unit plus Cash RM0.60.

Saturday & Sunday no working.
Monday by 11am (if IBG) should be reach SAMY. SAMY cannot buy bcos MMF cut off time is 10am (refer FSM)
Tuesday Q to buy MMF. Need to wait for Tuesday closing on NAV price.
Wednesday will update the buy order of MMF.

in total need 3 working day.


have you check with CS, is there any other way to overcome this?

GBP port

if selling face insufficient withdrawal bcoz of need to meet the min amount, how about buying? Will buying also got min amount?

no one DCA for GBP port? Cannot dispose it to another investor, then top up the remain from the market?

2.4% is Simple projected, can be higher or lower.

Eastpring give 3.x% less net expense ratio less next OPR cut (maybe), then it will be +/- 2.4%

Simple will update when Eastpring NAV change. Since NAV change within 2-3 days, then Simple just mirror it.

Distribution is MYR 0.0013 per unit.
ie. RM0.0013 X your SA simple unit as at 6 Jul 2020.

yesterday, it record in the Cash (MYR) account.
today, it show buy order in progress. BTW, I do top up some fund after distribution date.
This should be part of the projected returns (2.4%).

i no buy unit trust, so I really not sure about others how their distribution works.

I think Simple just wanna to record the distribution MYR on 6/7 first. Then do the buy order today to reflect the UNIT after the reinvestment date (8/7).

I think he like to DIY portfolio according to own needs.
In the youtube, I dont hear he mention Simple product is not license MY SC. According to Eastpring prospectus, this MMF is SC license.
He did mention about eToro is not SC license which highly promoted by others youtuber.

just notice transaction record. Simple bank in Rebate on Friday.

I got deposit, transfer to port, distribution, deposit again, transfer again......
hence, I dunno how many %.

Not much diff for 12% and 14% port.

So bad for those really need the monies to pay other stuff. Hopefully SAMY can solve it ASAP.

No use auto debit. I prefer manual debit for bill payment. I dont like the feeling of bank "hilang wang" without my knowledge.

the system might continue auto deduction till tomorrow. better transfer out all the money connect with SAMY auto debit.
