It’s not an error. It’s really based on your profile.

thanks for sharing.

that mean, have one housing loan and one car loan, then have to invest 50% in shariah based asset. The SAMY shariah based asset is in GBP. Am i understand correct?

might to share what is the asset class in SAMY 36% risk?

Understand from previous forumer sharing, if
You hv loan > shariah etf > SAMY GBP

And most ppl here are SAMY USD portfolio.

If you find way to chg to USD, please let us know. Otherwise, create a new account and “adjust” your real situation lo. Ahem ahem devil.gif

but from the latest info, does it mean that there is 1% chance to lose up to 28.1% instead of 36% ( at that period of posting ) ?
*
36% portfolio
means 1% chance to lose up to 36%.

however, if invested in peak hold it till low in 2020, the portfolio had lose 28.1%. it is still within the risk range, ie -36%.

yea, to be honest, i would really like to at least hold onto S&P500 (IVV) just coz historically it has always managed to persevere through tough times. So i wasn't too pleased when the readjustment is going to totally let go of IVV and XLK, both containing large portion of tech companies.

Ironically, USA tech (and healthcare) are the two sectors that best weathered this COVID storm. Maybe they think it's all downhill for USA-tech from here on out.

Anyway, this is all just rants from a non-sophisticated investor. We'll see how the experts handle our money.

Only 30% port have S&P500 (IVV) .

Look at this ARCX:KWEB ETF having expense ratio of 0.76%, holy shit.

This ETF also only got AUM of USD 2B, once StashAway onboard everyone to this new update, we should see some huge inflow to this fund.

But 0.76% expense ratio damn.
*
AAXJ expense ratio of 0.68%. bruce.gif

guys need some advise or double confirm

KWEB
Price : 50.30
Purchase USD : 1,089.28
Units Allocated : 21.6539

But when i use calculator to calculate USD 1,089.28 divided by 50.30  im suppose to get 21.6556 units but why it only shown 21.6539 unit ?

BNDX
Price : 57.20
Purchase USD : 1,681.91
Unit  Allocated : 29.4056

But when i use calculator to calculate USD 1,681.91 divided by 57.20 im suppose to get 21.6556 units but why it only shown 29.4040 unit ?
why like that ah ?

hope someone can share some light for me.
*
Thanks for sharing. that means the rounding up/down gap wider if we invest more money here.

maybe my port is small, hence the USD0.01 diff is acceptable.

[attachmentid=10507796]

asset breakdown
[attachmentid=10507797]
now IJR at 14.98%
after buy USD0.96
the IJR will be at 15%, which is the target asset allocation.

same like gold.

now GLD at 18.79%
after buy USD75.20
the GLD will be at 20%, which is the target asset allocation.

I realised my stashaway portfolio (22% risk) doesn't include S&P 500. Anyone else having the same issue? The only US ETFs my portfolio has are:
1. iShares Core S&P Small Cap ETF
2. Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund
3. Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund

I experimented and increased the risk to 36%, but S&P500 still not included in that portfolio. Any ideas?
*
if you want IVV in your port, go to 30% risk.

others risk dont have S&P500.

update on simple:
1. Jompay deposit yesterday morning
2. SA only received yesterday night
3. Day 2 -morning. Still no transaction yet
*
guess guess here

day 1 - Jompay deposit at 9am
day 1 - SAMY received by 5pm (follow IBG timing)
day 2 - SAMY need to buy Eastspring Investments Islamic Income Fund before 10am (follow FSM timing)
day 2 - end of the day will have the NAV value
day 3 - Eastspring Investments Islamic Income Fund allocate the unit
day 4 - SAMY will show unit in processing
day 5 - unit updated in account

that why some forumer got mention, it take longer time to transfer to port later.

which does the WHT affect and how does stashaway deduct from the user?
*
Example:

Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV)
Decl Date Ex Date Rec Date Pay Date Amount $
Jun. 19, 2020 Jun. 22, 2020 Jun. 23, 2020 Jun. 25, 2020 0.425

net dividend after 30% WHT
0.425 x 0.70 = 0.2975

0.2975 X the XLV unit before 22/6/2020 = the net dividend received. it will record in the transaction and bank into your SAMY cash account. This dividend can be use for next purchase.
