QUOTE(stormseeker92 @ Mar 11 2020, 07:07 PM) hello all. newbie here. if I have 2k budget to DCA end of this month and next month, is it btter to invest all now since the price is low? or maintain DCA 1k per month? I just started investing in SAMY in Feb. TQ my advice is do dca every week RM100 rather than dump so big money. |

guy, it is normal that u lost a lot. dont forget every USD1 down, we lost RM4.2. Plus weaker MYR currency, expect to loss more. So the best strategy is continue to DCA.
When it go up, we will see the moon..... |

QUOTE(solstice818 @ Mar 15 2020, 08:34 AM) I will just keep it short. Both started on the same day and top up were also done on the same day. The vast difference is due to SA holding a big portion of US and EU equities. Wahed for muslim only? review on app seem bad with withdrawal took too longAnyway, I don't need to prove to the "non believers" anything. Anyone holding both platforms will tell you the same thing albeit with a slight difference in the % in terms of profit and loss. A read of Wahed Thread will probably give you some idea as well. If you really keen to know the result, test it out with RM100 in both platforms. This post has been edited by ericlaiys: Mar 15 2020, 08:39 AM |

QUOTE(zacknistelrooy @ Mar 15 2020, 06:12 PM) Their allocation to fixed income is definitely higher for even the aggressive portfolio and the main ETF has wide bid-ask spread problem with wahed is everyone complained about long time to withdraw..took more than 10 days and some dissapear.I will use their NAV for YTD performance
In the end it is -13.45% vs -14.38% (Stashawy 36.0%) I will leave it up to all those who have invested heavily in these respective platforms as I am only testing it out for others. |

QUOTE(solstice818 @ Mar 15 2020, 09:11 PM) You just posted in wahed thread asking for their fees and charges today and yet few hours later you have posted here telling about "long withdrawal" and "money disappear". read the review on google and their mobile app. You can search from google store and google. i dont bluf one. it's other people review feedbackFor someone who doesn't even bother to do some reading about fees, you sure have "fast information" about withdrawal. I can tell you from experience, both the deposit and withdrawal are not as fast as SA. But does the money reach your bank account? Yes. In terms of reliability, i do think SA is better. At least they make me feel comfortable as their support is more responsive. |

QUOTE(QQHTJ @ Mar 31 2020, 10:49 PM) For me i'm looking at long term investment as well but SA sounds startup and auto pilot investing is very new to Malaysia, should I wonder the sustainability for the platform? just curiosity and little bit worry Diversify investment rather than rely on epf or saving. SA diff coz investment focus on other country and it’s converted to USD. No matter how USD value is higher than MY |

QUOTE(afif737 @ Apr 16 2020, 06:12 PM) 33 years to retirement (age 65). For me I do diversify, but using money from my salary and investments, not EPF. Personally I try to achieve my financial target outside of EPF without using money contributed into EPF. For me EPF money, no touchy touchy +1 . me also think & do the same. |
