im new here.
based on the settings above, 1 year return is 716/25,000=2.86%

isnt this return is so much lower than any 12months FD ?

can enlighten me whats the beautiful of stashaway?
*
U can just ignore the projection
Btw, the one year in your calculation is 12 months? Or just sept to dec?

Also u might even get negative return as this is stock market after all.

Genuine question here, since StashAway is an ETF that invests in multiple stocks, why doesn’t the our current total value in StashAway fluctuate every minute but only changes once a day?

I also use Rakuten Trade and the market value there changes all the time until Bursa closes at 5pm. Why doesn’t the same happen in StashAway?
*
Roarus already answered the question for u.

Just wanna add that if you wanna track the fluctuation, you can use webull to track it by adding the simulated holdings.

let's say if I recommended somebody. His account is only activated once he deposits money in it? If he doesn't deposit any money, then the account is not activated and I don't get any referral bonus?

You are correct

any guideline about stashaway risk index? I'm 35 this year...should I go for higher risk? based on SA survey, my risk index is 22%...can I go for 36% max?  hmm.gif
*
Depend on your overall portfolio and risk appetite tbh

Do u have other safer investment vehicle/savings like asnb, fd, cash/property etc
Is ur cash flow okay? Do u still have spare cash after deducting all ur commitment and expenses?

If yes then probably can take a higher risk. If no then stay at 22% also not bad.

SA seems to be back to its inconsistent state?

- Deposited on 24th evening
- Acknowledged on 25th morning
- Currency conversion is only done on 26th (today) without any buy order which will most probably be done later tonight.

Or does multiple port make it confuse?

Yup. Still within the time frame that they stated.
Just curious about the inconsistency that's all.

Only 1 - 18%

After adding another port (6.5%) aside from my previous port
The deposit time seems to be taken longer (acknowledgement of deposit still the same) just that the currency conversion and buy order seems to be delayed for 1 day.

Will try it a few more time (last 2 weeks manual deposit both delayed). Next week will try again.

Advisable to put all my investment in this app alone but two portfolio?

My first portfolio risk is 20%
Second portfolio risk is at 36%
*
Even though the portfolio already diversify for us, it is still under one company. So it's advisable to have other more stable investment like fixed deposit just in case.

Also any reason why 20 and 36?
Quite a few etfs in these 2 port are the same.

Earning a 10k profit by investing 50k over a span of only 8months is a huge deal!
May I know what risk profile were you at when you had that kind of profit?
Thanks for sharing.
*
Probably 36
But my advice is not to follow others
He entered after the correction happened on Dec last year and its been a bull market since then till...recently.

With the trade war and some bad earning report recently, the stock has been performing poorly.

Ytd and today (haven't close yet for today's market) already dropped around 1k if I were to invest 50k in 36%.

So ya, don't just blindly follow. Assess your own risk appetite

Haha not so much but quite a lot to me as I've just started working. RM10K. Shall I withdraw 🤔
*
If its what viktor guessed that the 10k is ur entire saving
U might wanna reevaluate your investment style.

U need to have emergency fund first (6 month expenses to 12 month income depend on how safe u wanna be)
Then only start investing.

i was at 26%. my timing was quite good apparently..went in when market was down, profited with upswing..was good at predicting trump's tantrums and their effects on the DOW/S & P?Nasdaq......LOL but ever since the re-optimisation...not doing so good now... sad.gif
*
U are very lucky

But its best to DCA, we can't win the market. Its not about the re-optimization tbh. Maybe just luck ran out.
