I believe prisons don't have beds due to following:

1. Bed frames, steel or wood, can be dismantled/broken off to create weapons.

2. Mattresses and pillows can be set on fire to create a diversion for escape.

3. Blankets can be tied together to create a rope for escape

Hence inmates have no choice but to sleep on the floor. But just my 2 sens.

How does weak, vulnerable and soft guys get through prison life? My pandan friend who was just released, convicted for drug case, said that his life is quite hard there. Not sure if he got dropped the soap and cucuked from behind, he refuse to tell more about his life there.

after 30 yrs behind bar... I really dont see how they can adapt back into society..

In Sam Kian Seng book he said he found God in prison and that's how he survived in prison.

When he came out recently, he was surprised to see how much has changed.

they should make a documentary and film people who just got out of long prison sentence and show us their face's shock reaction when shown new advances in technology because it's like they come from the past. it would be hilarious.

When I came out, someone brought Sam Kor to see me. He gave me an inspiring speech about turning over a new leaf.

Yeah I am sick and tired of my old life. Going to do things in a proper way now.
