Fuel shack tower burger. Oh fracking hell , that was heaven. It was so fracking good
No didn't get to vote.
Inmates all happy because everyone's sentence was reduced.
Smarter person.

Excellent and inspiring story. I too have interviewed an ex convict.

Many questions were asked about his past work experience but none of a personal nature.

Certainly not what was he in the slammer for. That is totally taboo, even by my own standards. Some things are better left unasked.

As far as I'm concerned, so long as you have served your debt to society you deserve a second chance in life.

Welcome back to mainstream society.

If you need a job, do pm me.

TS From your descriptions, the American prisons we see on TV are certainly luxurious. Each prisoner have a mattress and pillow and even get books to read while you sleep on hard concrete floors. What a marked difference!

Sure! Why not?
No. All my skills and knowledge is self taught.
No. I educate myself constantly since young. Knowledge is power.
No. Never TFK won't die wan.
Maybe. How would I know? It's not like they show me their bank account
Yes. They keep the pondans in a separate cell.

It was ok. Really boring tho.
Upbringing and social circle definitely plays a part in defining a person's personality. But I wouldn't say that my childhood was the main reason why I am who I am. I feel like blaming my childhood would just be giving an excuse.

Wow TS, well spoken. I like people who are self taught. Many of these end up as tycoons like Lim Goh Tong and Lih Boon Siew.

I am glad you wrote what you wrote your upbringing and never blaming your childhood. Such words reflect your wisdom.

Well spoken, well spoken.

I would like the cooperation of forummers to stop asking him TS about his crime that landed him in the slammer.

Such questions are really personal and hard to answer.

Suffice that he did his time and has fully repaid his debt to society.

I once read Sweden's most notorious murderer was imprisoned in a cell that looks straight out of a hotel room. It is so luxurious compared to what TS described of Sg Buloh please.

The rolling tobacco is packed tightly and wrapped in plastic before being swallowed. If it's not wrapped in plastic, the stomach acid would have digested the tobacco and the person would get sick from nicotine poisoning.
Focus on my work.

Wow, so insightful!.

If not for your revelations I wouldn't know the intricacies needed for surviving prison life.

I trust your work is mainstream and legal.

Care to shed some light on the work you're doing now?

Yeah man! Fracking human rights abuse.
I adjusted pretty quickly , but I hate sleeping on concrete floor.

I believe prisons don't have beds due to following:

1. Bed frames, steel or wood, can be dismantled/broken off to create weapons.

2. Mattresses and pillows can be set on fire to create a diversion for escape.

3. Blankets can be tied together to create a rope for escape

Hence inmates have no choice but to sleep on the floor. But just my 2 sens.
