Hi All, I have an 800Mbps package. Asus RT-AC68U router.
Connect direct via Cat6 cable.
Direct downloads can get 90MB/s +/-.
I torrent can only get 18-20MB/s. Torrent is Public and a lot of seeds.
Can I know what settings I do wrongly?
I am using Bittorrent client and SSD Disk.
Please help Sifus.
Please read 1st page, 1st post, green text, for what could be the bottleneck. However, if you meant torrent, it depends on the torrent clients and peers speed as well.

another question,
let's say if i wanna request unifi to give me the latest router. (i don't mind renewing contract).
what model will they give? (i'm at 500mbps package)
They won't give you anything good. You will still get a basic router. Better to buy your own.

bro, i read here many ppl managed to achieve full speed torrent. i am doing the exact same thing yet cannot get.
worse still is I can get normal downloads 109MB/s but torrent only 20MB/s.
Just a curiosity. Could my AC68U be the bottleneck?
Torrent depend on many things.

Hi there, I am currently using Ugreen cat 7 cable and planning to order more today. Are you saying it is actually fake? Cat 6 sold as cat 7? If so I might as well buy cat 6 which is cheaper.
On another topic, I am currently using Cat 7 from modem to router, over 20 meters. From router to ps4 Pro and laptop is either Cat 5e or Cat 6. I am on 100Mbps Unifi and my laptop speed test ping is around 7 to 9 (8 most of the time) and speed up to 100 to 110+ Mbps. However when I do a speed test on ps4 Pro, it goes up to 300Mbps plus despite I am only on 100Mbps.
So my question is, is my wired connection only capable to go up 300 plus or is it Sony Ps4 Pro tests only up to 300 plus?
Cat 7 is not fake, but it is not recognized as an official standard. Cat 6A is the highest official standard that is recognized. You would do well to get Cat 6, instead of Cat 7. See here for more:
