I can confirm that with the latest Unifi TV 2.0 firmware, the dedicated VLAN 600 port for IPTV streaming is no longer available — a first in my experience. Looks like TM really is phasing this out.

Unifi 2.0 + UPB for me is terrible. Why update to launcher and unable exit to previous interface. Make the device so lag.
I have another TV box with google tv OS. I notice 2.0 app got extra language and subtitles setting for language. The Video streaming quality much more better no like UPB will need buffer for few second for get better video quality.

Is it you not subscribe or activate? I usually just use the Apps menu at side bar to get to my apps. Not from homepage.

Not sure is this why my UnifiTV box launcher is stuck with all the black boxes trying to load, because the Ethernet is still connected.

I have both the VLAN600 and Wi-Fi connected, but after update Wi-Fi always shows limited connectivity, even when connecting to my mobile hotspot, all apps cannot bukak, no internet.

Sure enough it prompted me to login once I unplugged the VLAN600 ethernet cable.

holy hell how does Unifi make their TV channel browsing experience worse after each major upgrade

Silver Box - Channel Grid, so intuitive, just glance over all the channels to see what might catch your eye

White Box / Black box - Channel select in bottom drawer, no preview, unfriendly for elderly because drawer will time out, but at least its sorted by category and looks modern

Unifi TV 2.0 - Scrolling through a god damn TV Guide one channel by one channel while a whole bunch of words are plastered over the whole TV screen

Latest software/fimware vlan600 is not working anymore, so you need use normal internet bandwidth.

Seems like they going to phase out IPTV dedicated bandwidth soon.

Looks like another new gen box coming, model HP4BF-TM just Google certified last week.

Specs from Android TV Guide (link)
- Name "unifi TV Box (V3)", Plus omitted
- Skyworth ODM
- Amlogic S905Y5 (4 cores, ARM Cortex-A55 CPU @ 2.0 GHz, Mali-G31 MP2 GPU)
- 2 GB RAM
- Android TV 14
- Google Cast + Google Assistant support
- Netflix + Prime Video certified
- storage capacity unknown

Speculated features based on CPU, zero confirmation: Wi-Fi 6 (AX), BT 5.x, 64-bit, HDMI 2.1

Given it is using a standard Amlogic X/Y SoC that means VLAN IPTV probably is phase-out compared to the v2 model using the hybrid chip S905C1 (link).

Geekbench 5 CPU (link) reported the CPU at 1.7 GHz. There is an odd model HP40AX2 submitted last month but speculate to be based on the older S905X2 SoC (same as UPB v1).

Dear beloved TM Unifi TV staff lurker, for future next gen UPB design suggest your supervisor [re]consider Askey ODM (Asus). Their box with far weaker CPU, RAM spec compared to v1 & v2 box is so smooth, fewer bugs and 2 ATV version upgrades.

Yes, I'm also confirming that with the "upgraded" Unifi TV 2.0 package on the UPB doesn't use VLAN 600 anymore and I couldn't find anywhere on the settings menu that can make a switch.

On my router's VLAN 600 interface's traffic is close to zero, the occasional packets sent/receive in my best guess is for DHCP, cause the UPB still gets an IP address for the LAN interface.

Once you turned off WiFi, the UPB is just a brick, with it streaming, from memory, it's using around 2 Mbps for FullHD channels.

This really sucks, Unifi's so-called "Triple Play" services, has been downgraded to "Dual Play".
Anybody can do a petition to pressure them in restoring the VLAN 600 functionality?
Maybe an article by LYN and tagging Fahmi or even MCMC?

Anyone has gone to check with TM's technicians or Customer Support whether there's any hidden menus to enable VLAN 600 like the old setup?

Their triple-play meaning has changed, landline VoIP replaced with Unifi Mobile. TV now sharing the same bandwidth with regular Internet with recent speculating event VLAN being heavy heartedly discontinued.

If someone still have 1 account not yet migrated to 2.0, can try installing the 1.0 app to the new firmware and confirm whether VLAN IPTV is still available?

Landline VOIP is still available that's a given, some business settings with multiple lines may also require a separate run of fibre into the premises.

I've tried to login back into the old app when I've 1st got the splash screen, but there's no way to bypass the splash screen and continue using the old app, in other words, they're forcing users to use the new 2.0 app once you've been migrated.

FAQ. Even people dont have unifiTV also get all channels free and OTT also one month free. But must have unifi broadband or mobile only. This is crazy.
