Hello ...
yes .. I am having a old old set of hypptv decoder .. which is still currently in good    condition ...(using)

last few days ... I bought a second hand unit of decoder huawei  white ... trying to connect it  but screen show services unavailable ... even thought with ID and Pin ....

so called the care center ... and was told cannot unbind the mac address ..
so .. i show them picture of this second hand unit mac address .. but still cannot be "bind " .. and was advise that ..need technician to attend to my case but need to charge ringgit 53. for this services or ... else buy a new unit from TM  ..which will cost about 300 over ringgit .... or .. sign up for 2 years contract .. ( which i was recently turboed )  in this case the new unit of Hypptv will be free .. ..

I further argued over the fact .. that i am a good customers of unifi .. with good payment since the days of 1515 ....

they replied that the unit of old hypptv decoder is already expired with warranty /// and there is noting much they can do ... !!! is this true / ???

please advise me what to do next ... ??
thank you .

What DEVICE... if box, what box?

Try using wifi, not ethernet.

Android 5, 6, 7 or 8 does not matter.

Yes it is, I am connected STB to my router wirelessly. But not too far from each other, likely about 30ft apart.

About 2 STBs I am not very sure since the 1st device already bind into user ID. But you can always try your luck.

Yes you can provided the 2nd unit STB has a valid user id and password from another Unifi Account.
You cannot use the same user id and password for both STBs.

Were you subscribed to Aneka package previously?
If YES, it was auto upgraded.
If NO, then you have to check with TM.

Had some issue with frequent error messages when switched the between channels. Need to restart the STB then it will ok but not last longer, it happened again. Reset the STB did the job fine, I am no longer getting the similar error. However need to login ID and password again, luckily I wrote down into my note book. Btw, this is the 2nd gen STB and the maintenance pin is 3008 if someone wanted to know.

Hope it stays good.

Not entirely sure but seems the newer boxes r more problematic...?

My bulky silver stb is almost 8 years old... reliable... no funny problems, the hd channels come out nice enuf.

If only there are more and not less of more popular channels.

I dont wish for more sports but still wishing they can add AFC, HGTV.

Not very sure about the latest model, however my friend told me that he is still using the 1st gen and still happy with it with all the HD capability. I am on 2nd inherited from the previous 8mbps combo plan. From the kbps shown I can feel it managed to pick at least 720 from it. The downside is when switching channels and during start up, slowness is really irritating. I wonder if for the 3rd STB this kind of problem never exist.

Using your Internet Explorer, open this http://hypptv.tm.com.my/EPG/jsp/webtv/inde...p#1548831746327
Everything should be straight forward.
