I don't think you'll be charge for that, your 1st device is your device that using app to play it and your new STB will be your 2nd device. So you have 2 devices to play unifi tv as your are entitled for it. Your default subscription is based on user ID login and password, since your are subscribed to ruby+ there will be no extra charged unless you asked to buy more plans which you have to enter your pin number for each purchased.

I think he meant using own purchased white stb for unifitv, not playtv app.

Playtv app, many devices, boxes can do, no need that white stb.

Some people said successful, got registered for unifitv for free.

Others said rejected, denied, can only use playtv app.

U will have to call n ask.

I got a Samsung TV which is less then 2 years that has the Unifi Play TV app. Already update the firmware and can login to the app but cannot play anything.

Parlimen sessions will load but anything else it will say UnifiTV unable to load message.

But on phone and tablet on the same network no problem.... so that rules out account or network issues.

Anyone have any idea?

likely tv firmware/security patch not compatible with current playtv version.

Done all the installation and can view all the preview movies icons but unable to move or go to any tv channels. Can only scroll up and down only. I am using the remote control provided by sharp.

yes .. I am having a old old set of hypptv decoder .. which is still currently in good condition ...(using)

last few days ... I bought a second hand unit of decoder huawei white ... trying to connect it but screen show services unavailable ... even thought with ID and Pin ....

so called the care center ... and was told cannot unbind the mac address ..
so .. i show them picture of this second hand unit mac address .. but still cannot be "bind " .. and was advise that ..need technician to attend to my case but need to charge ringgit 53. for this services or ... else buy a new unit from TM ..which will cost about 300 over ringgit .... or .. sign up for 2 years contract .. ( which i was recently turboed ) in this case the new unit of Hypptv will be free .. ..

I further argued over the fact .. that i am a good customers of unifi .. with good payment since the days of 1515 ....

they replied that the unit of old hypptv decoder is already expired with warranty /// and there is noting much they can do ... !!! is this true / ???

That's bad, I guess they just wanted us to spent the money direct into their income. Some of the users before this managed to bind the mac into their new STB without any questions as long it is a STB originally from TM. Even they are suggesting to buy new STB from them or renew the contract, whatever it is still need to bind to new device. Since some CS will give different outputs, I am suggesting you approach them from different channels; live chat, twitter, FB or come to TM Point yourself and bring along your new STB.
