Actually you can use Netflix on the UPB.. the catch is, it's a modified version of a very old Netflix mobile APK (v4.x)
Max resolution is only 1080p though. If you use any other netflix mobile versions it's only SD.
maybe you can use it on the old 1080p tv in the kitchen

when i switch on unifi stb, auto update beginning on my tv screen. around 5 minute update. after finish, my stb restart. many people got this update yesterday.

Nope, its original from VIP20 subscription that time, then auto updated until play store gone, from that time there is no more auto update from TM.

i think, you are subscribers before 2018. i am subscribe unifi tv on 2018. get first update on december 4 2019. ui have changed. but very lagging when i want change any channel. and than yesterday i get second update from unifi tv. after update, no more lagging. very smooth.

Is the latest interface for white box now only allow default launcher to launch unifi tv?

hi all. my hypptv Huawei STB just died on me. so I tried installing playtv on my android TV box and was able to login and watch the live TV channels.

only issue I have is changing channels. I have to exit what I am watching to go back to the channel list to select a new channel. but I can't seem to scroll down on the channel list with the remote for my android TV box. even if I activate the 'mouse cursor' on my remote, I can only select those channels that are displayed on the screen.

I can only scroll down the channel list if I connect a keyboard with attached trackpad.

just wondering how are u guys out there that are using playtv app on Android TV boxes scrolling your channel list? thanks

At least yours can play the live TB channels. I installed the unitfi play tv app from google play store using android tvbox. I have login and able to see all the channels. However not able to play any of it. There is always error asking me if i have login and error 414590 pop up every want to play. Anyone encounter the same problem?

wish TM could integrate Unifi PlayTV with the Live Tv app on Android TV. just like the Pluto or Xumo in the US. more customizable plus google assistant would work haha
