Earlier (before July 2019) I don't have to wait. Switch ON the STB, then switch ON the tv. On the STB remote, press OK and then press Exit, can change channel immediately.
Now have to wait for the Yellow icon to disappear then only can press OK and Exit.

The exact date has not been confirmed by Unifi TV team yet. I have also asked them whether they will launch new premium channels on Unifi TV and their reply is "This is coming very soon! Stay tuned!"

before ordering unifi package RM159 with STB, would like to confirm, for channel like FOX movies, Warner Bros, Paramount etc, does it have subtitle like the one in astro?

if they don't have then it's not worth for me to get this package

hi sifu here.... after i change new STB i keep on getting Message ID 201010 even though i key in the correct username and password, anyone encounter this before?

i did ask CS to unbind the MAC address, do i need to ask them tp bind the new MAC address too?

of course u need to get them to unbind from old AND bind to new.

They told me when i connect using new STB it will automatically bind to MAC address, is that true?

I doubt it.

hmmm no wonder now i both STB cannot connect!!! let me contact TM again... thanks ya~

i got question about hypptv,

last time i using 8 Mbps RM140 line with TM hypptv box, now i upgrade to Unifi 100 Mbps RM129 w/o TM TVBox, so i still can using old STB to watch Malaysia TV?

I know it's stupid of me, but i wish i knew this before subscribing the set-top-box package..

I wanted to use unifi tv as an english listening education medium for my foreigner mate.. But then no english substitle = cannot catch up with what they're saying, since all the channels use difficult-to-listen english, even the kids channel.. Now he didnt even watch the tv & always switch it off because it's noisy.. what a waste..

Or do you know any unifi tv channels/programme that use really easy-to-listen english, for beginner foreigner?

Can try BBC earth, bbc lifestyle, kids channels.

As for subs, unifitv offers no video that is eng audio+eng subs... live or free vod.

They offer Eng subs for most of the English movies on HyppFlicks+. I know it because I have watched The Incredibles 2 and Johnny English: Strikes Again with Eng subs.

Hyppflicks... i wouldnt know, never use paid vod.
