The package with the TV STB starts from RM 159 (100 Mbps). Another one is RM 199 (300 Mbps), which comes with 4 free VOD titles every month (100 movies in total during the 2 years contract).

Both plans allow you to access the channels of the Ultimate Pack (all channels except France 24 and NHK World Premium). I personally think that if they will release more better plans if the 'take-up' rate is high (that's why they release the 300 Mbps plan along with the free VOD passes).

By the way, I'm still waiting for them to launch new channels on Unifi TV soon since their staffs ask me to wait for the official announcement on the Unifi TV website.

By the way, what browser supports unifi playtv on pc?

I've tried edge, chrome, mozilla.. All got the error: "Your browser doesnt support". Tried safari, error "Cant open page because cannot secure".

Any other browser which can support & just play on the spot? Or all will get errors like these & need to tweak some settings?

you can used mozilla firefox V51.0, you can't used version latest. i used mozilla firefox v51. unistall if you used hte latest version and install v 51 on your pc@ lappy. don't forget install unifi tv plug in.

that's the problem, depends on how the explanation with the CS. From previous posts, some were successful and some are not.

Seems like a lot channel going to terminated, especially mutv. Are they going to reduce channel to cut cost?

the android app? you need a keyboard and a mouse for easy key in. point to the box and type the code and click the enter button.

for movie? better use the points to get RM10/= off your unifi bill.

Currently using old HPTV (1st version) can this be jailbroken?
So far when contacted Unifi the unit for upgrading or upgrade to a newer unit require to pay RM300,
cos no more warranty on the box. Is it true?

Try asking for a new box when u next sign new contract.

I wasnt successful but some people say they were.

The old box is very very long lasting but u cant do anything with it like newer android models.

I just recently upgraded my Unifi package (during offer period) but when the installer came to change my modem. He said the TVbox is not included in the upgrade package, therefore cannot change or replace it with the new unit.
So misleading - the upgrade also involves adding new channel "ruby" package but doesn't cover the TVbox.
Sigh..will try to call them and negotiate again.
Yeah...the old box is indeed super lasting..but useless only can watch "their" shows not even youtube.
