If you buy new car solely for grab, no. Even without new regulation, it is no advisable to do so as our drivers can get suspended or ban by grab

It is because MOT give too much freedom to them after monopoly. In Singapore they are not allowed to reduce driver's incentives after monopoly. Grab afraid it will happen in Malaysia also that's why they stop publishing weekly incentives updates on websites but choose to send to every driver's app. One day if there are too much drivers all incentives might be gone, because there are still people who will be completing the jobs. Too bad we don't have drivers association to sound to MOT.

everything is still uncertain. Finally its the government who enforces the rules and regulation yet they still havent come out any news from them yet and its almost april and july we have to comply.

I jut luv delivery jobs. Can take my sweet time to drive . 

But if the shipment is doubtful and I cannot check the contents I declined the job. 

Have had delivered groceries, to automobile spare parts and even passport to the airport. 

I think should be either stick on the front or rear windscreen, the yellow color very obvious makes everybody knows u r grab.

If she didn’t make so much noise in social media, her account may be still in suspension mode.

There are many other similar cases but drivers didn’t fight on all the way like her.

Why cant the grabcar person in charge from the driver relations dept just leave the contact number for her to call back? Just suspend because drivers were uncontactable? Driver side panic like shit is not their concern.

I've this problem whether is anyone else facing this issue....I'm using Android phone and using AA .. When I using waze while driving my 1st passenger but when I received a pop up message on A back to back job notification ,  the app exit from waze and I need to go back into waze which is a 3 steps process while driving which is dangerous. Do you face this problem?

im using Huawei-Honor phone, I need to press 2times the same button to get back to waze.
by pressing twice the square; multitask-apps selection (common found in android with square, circle, triangle button), i'll be back to waze in second..

And yes these b2b jobs notification are annoying and unhelpful. Do you expect us to call/confirm/msg riders when we're driving with passengers on board? It is worst when b2b come in and we tap a few to get back for Waze working, and suddenly the b2b job cancelled! Motherfker now I have to tap a few more to get Waze working!  Grab should just hide the b2b job notification/cancellation etc without disturbing the Waze. Sound notification should be sufficient.

Puspakom check (easily one day)

Part timer like me have to take at least 3-4 days of leave to settle all this.

I read from the puspakom website on the inspection for ehailing vehicles. One of the items that they'll be checking is the light transmission on our windows. Most of us who are using our own cars will definitely have window tint and most of our window tint on our windscreen will fail the test. Any ideas how to overcome it besides removing the tint prior to inspection and then re-tinting it back.. This way will cause a lot of money and we need to inspect the car annually. My car is more than 3 years old so I got to send it for inspection.

Can anyone or recruiter from Grab can convince to an uncle to become Grab driver? (must be age around 50 or above) - I need help in this as I tried to help him to earn some $$ during his freetime. If yes, pls pm me, your help really appreciate here.

This is why I don't recommend people to use MyCar. Because they are too lax in their quality control department. A lot of Grab drivers usually complain about how Grab always ban drivers, strict cancellation/acceptance rating requirement, but all these are the reason why Grab is so successful. Drivers are disposable. They prefer to keep the best and the most loyal drivers in their drivers pool. The one who always choosy on jobs, complain a lot, drive too little, they will just get rid of. Because they know there hundreds more drivers will register every week.

The way I see it, MyCar's vision is to capitalize on Grab's 'weakness' which is drivers' welfare. So they allow MyCar drivers to filter and cancel job as much as they wanted too. But they don't realize that this will significantly harm their service quality. Therefore, you will have a lot of bad Grab drivers who got banned to jump into MyCar platform.

I think the main reason why people would ever pick MyCar over Grab is because MyCar offers a cheaper fare for their particular trip. Conlusion: as a passenger, try to stick to Grab if you want better service. MyCar is just Grab's tong sampah. Hopefully GoJek can enter Malaysian market and provide a serious competition soon.

This is why e-hailing companies should be customer centric and not driver centric. While it may seem cruel to drivers it is only fair that most customers don't want trouble.

I have tried another e-hailing, dascee and somehow the quality of driver is also not as good as GRAB.
