So I got a case yesterday with MyCar driver. PS: I cut the story short to the point.

The driver was somewhere on DUKE 2 highway. He tried to switch lanes from right to left. He signal anot I not sure. Left lane got a motor and I am sure the motor abang was riding on his own lane. MyCar driver slowly cut to the left. I was sitting on left seat behind and saw the motor was SUPER CLOSE to the car, nearly kena hit. Motor abang suddenly realize and shout 'WOI! !!#$#@$$' and angrily moved away. Driver say not his fault but from what I see is his wrong cuz he cut lanes especially got motor beside. Serious WTF driver .Then before the toll, the motor abang chased up and again !@##@@##. Driver also open window and both bombard with each other. I mean, this driver is total bastard. Own fault don't want admit, no apologize and still wanna bombard people. Then, reach a cross intersection when he was supposed to turn left, he suddenly speed up and went over straight. The time he realize need to turn left then suddenly hit hard brake and keras2 turn. Car behind honk him kao kao cuz that fellow sudden speed up sudden brake. I mean...you open WAZE ald cuz u dunno direction then drive slower la. Madafaka not sure direction still so daring to pecut at cross intersect. Suddenly hit hard brake later car behind hit him got problem. At another T-junction also same case. Suppose turn right but he go straight. Luckily no car behind if not confirm hit.

Conclusion: Got driving license, Drive Vios, Register as MyCar driver, driving skill 0. Limbeh salute this fella.

CB how can this kind of people driving dangerously plus bad attitude can get driving license and be MyCar driver?? IMMA ald email MyCar but very hard for them to take action without evidence. If I got video shoot conlan7firm I send to JPJ report suspen his license

This is why I don't recommend people to use MyCar. Because they are too lax in their quality control department. A lot of Grab drivers usually complain about how Grab always ban drivers, strict cancellation/acceptance rating requirement, but all these are the reason why Grab is so successful. Drivers are disposable. They prefer to keep the best and the most loyal drivers in their drivers pool. The one who always choosy on jobs, complain a lot, drive too little, they will just get rid of. Because they know there hundreds more drivers will register every week.

The way I see it, MyCar's vision is to capitalize on Grab's 'weakness' which is drivers' welfare. So they allow MyCar drivers to filter and cancel job as much as they wanted too. But they don't realize that this will significantly harm their service quality. Therefore, you will have a lot of bad Grab drivers who got banned to jump into MyCar platform.

I think the main reason why people would ever pick MyCar over Grab is because MyCar offers a cheaper fare for their particular trip. Conlusion: as a passenger, try to stick to Grab if you want better service. MyCar is just Grab's tong sampah. Hopefully GoJek can enter Malaysian market and provide a serious competition soon.

This is why e-hailing companies should be customer centric and not driver centric. While it may seem cruel to drivers it is only fair that most customers don't want trouble.

I have tried another e-hailing, dascee and somehow the quality of driver is also not as good as GRAB.

Mycar very lax attitude as rider already kena b4. They cancel after 5~10mins then next guy pickup later cancel and another then cancel. I kena 4 cancels in row from them end up wasting more than 30mins with nobody pick me up. Lucky I finally manage to find grab driver.
