This almost the same situation as yours but mine is reversed. My traffic condition was much better than you and i completed it within 30 minutes.

Already called the CS. As usual the cs only give template answer as they dont really know what happened. Always about demand and no driver around.

Solaris mont kiara to publika 1km~ RM25 usually RM15. I am a driver and there is no demand.

SG gonna implement cancellation fee towards riders. As expected, riders feedback are disastrous. Instead of attacking grab, they vent their anger towards driver. Usual replies are such "if driver cancel then we get $4?" "There's a cancel button so it's up to us to choose our driver suka hati" "what if the driver is the one who asks us to cancel?" "driver suka2 cancel can, we cancel kena punish?!"

Then this one comment crack me up. He said that drivers should not accept booking when they are not even dropping off current passenger yet. Guy doesn't even know the concept of b2b. Such a privileged person.

As you can see and read from the apps in your  phone, you have my full name, my car type, car registration number,  car color and heck, even my passport photo is there. In the other hand,  I have nothing except your name Robert, that is not even your full name and your destination. As far as our safety is my concern, your verification is needed before I agree to step my gas paddle and send you off to anywhere you have requested In the apps. I might have pickup a wrong person rather than the real Robert whom requested the ride via the apps at the first place. Now is that too much for me to ask?

I was in Putrajaya when I saw that Kajang was glowing red. When I arrived in Kajang, suddenly that red color has disappeared! I was so frustrated because 20km go and forth is no joke and Kajang was just as bad as Putrajaya.

So I went to Bangi to grab something to eat when suddenly the heat map showed Kajang went glowing red again.

This is why I have serious trust issues with the heat map.

I was overcharged for toll last week from Klang to KLIA. Entering Ebor (Shah Alam) and exiting KLIA is rm5.50 but this driver put rm7.40 instead. I dunno till I saw my e-receipt since I pay it thru my credit card. As a driver myself, I never did such thing.

Principle wise, I made a complaint to Grab CC eventhough it was a minimal amount and Grab credited back the difference into my cc.

I think they cannot tahan with the amount they have to compensate, imagine 1mil ride like this, putih putih give out RM3mil just for rider's attitude or other problem.

And yet it took 1 year after merger with Uber to implement such policy. Tambah another RM3 is just freaking difficult for the programmer.

So guys.. now its not a good time to be a good Grab driver anymore? Been reading the past 5 pages, and all i see someone arguing lol.

Im thinking to start next week, and doing this as a part time job to pay for my new car. But still on booking fees la. Should i pull out from this? Need advice. Thanks.

What i mean by part time is, im just working on flexible hours ( 7am-4pm) for 6 days maybe, before i get the call for my interview. And yeap, im planning to drive a new car also lah, barai eh? 😅 oh ya, im based on kota kinabalu also.

So my expectation is,as long as i can earn a little and pay for my car thats enough for me, because i dont have any idea on any jobs that gives good income or fast income like grab. But the regulations kinda makes me think la is it worth do it or not. If not, better dont issue car lah kan?
