QUOTE(b4sh88 @ Feb 26 2019, 07:40 PM) I sympathise with you. Already said, Grab earnings depend on luck.[attachmentid=10191579] This almost the same situation as yours but mine is reversed. My traffic condition was much better than you and i completed it within 30 minutes. If Grab gives you a bad job, curse and take it. Pray that your next job would be better. Only cancel jobs when you have no choice, e.g. you need to go to office in one hour, but the job is likely to take longer than that. |

QUOTE(b4sh88 @ Feb 28 2019, 12:31 PM) Already called the CS. As usual the cs only give template answer as they dont really know what happened. Always about demand and no driver around. CS are not tech people. The best they can do is to escalate the issue to the relevant team. Hopefully they do.Solaris mont kiara to publika 1km~ RM25 usually RM15. I am a driver and there is no demand. The cs even ask me to use JustGrab instead. For now, just wait. Check the rider app to see if the problem persists. |

QUOTE(yhtan @ Feb 28 2019, 02:23 PM) Ytd 6.20pm got a GS job to Sri Petaling, guess what after that, circle around and idle for 10mins also no job. Offline and go for lunch. What time you reached Sri Petaling?Full timer really eat shit during downturn. If early can go to Bukit Jalil LRT station. You may even get ping from APU students or Indian expats working in TPM. |

QUOTE(elroses @ Mar 5 2019, 09:16 AM) https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singap..._medium=twitter SG gonna implement cancellation fee towards riders. As expected, riders feedback are disastrous. Instead of attacking grab, they vent their anger towards driver. Usual replies are such "if driver cancel then we get $4?" "There's a cancel button so it's up to us to choose our driver suka hati" "what if the driver is the one who asks us to cancel?" "driver suka2 cancel can, we cancel kena punish?!" Then this one comment crack me up. He said that drivers should not accept booking when they are not even dropping off current passenger yet. Guy doesn't even know the concept of b2b. Such a privileged person. Your thoughts? QUOTE “If your driver decides to wait for you beyond this period, standard additional waiting time surcharges apply," Grab said. This applies to Malaysia? |

QUOTE(AegonTagaryen @ Mar 6 2019, 05:21 PM) Today, I picked up one passenger.. You don't ask: where are you going?Me: Good morning Mr. Robert (bukan nama sebenar) Passenger: Morning. Me: So where are you heading to today? *smiling* Passenger: I have made the request via app. Can't you read? Me: Of course I can read. I am asking because I need to verify that I am picking up the right passenger. As you can see and read from the apps in your phone, you have my full name, my car type, car registration number, car color and heck, even my passport photo is there. In the other hand, I have nothing except your name Robert, that is not even your full name and your destination. As far as our safety is my concern, your verification is needed before I agree to step my gas paddle and send you off to anywhere you have requested In the apps. I might have pickup a wrong person rather than the real Robert whom requested the ride via the apps at the first place. Now is that too much for me to ask? Passenger: Jalan Imbi, KL. Me: Thank you very much. Please buckle up and let's go. Why Malaysian love being dickhead? You say: you are going to Jalan Imbi... |

QUOTE(coolstore @ Mar 9 2019, 01:29 PM) MOT as gov agency, as political considerations - care of voter ticket in next election. Voters generally prefer e-hailing lah...would taxi association has that substantial influential power to cut votes away, that unknown. but, without 90% ehailing cars on the street, peoples who used to it in the past few years sure enraged to get back to taxi cut throat price, that confirm affect vote. PH sure not that kind of stupid. gov want to 'regulate' ehailing industry taxi want to 'shut down' ehailing industry it is a clear line there But the boss of the boss of Loke is pro-taxi. |

QUOTE(bojed @ Mar 13 2019, 01:22 PM) I was in Putrajaya when I saw that Kajang was glowing red. When I arrived in Kajang, suddenly that red color has disappeared! I was so frustrated because 20km go and forth is no joke and Kajang was just as bad as Putrajaya. Pickup distance 3km you cancel, yet you drove 20km to get to busy area So I went to Bangi to grab something to eat when suddenly the heat map showed Kajang went glowing red again. This is why I have serious trust issues with the heat map. |

QUOTE(Sedago Mimpi @ Mar 15 2019, 06:58 PM) I was overcharged for toll last week from Klang to KLIA. Entering Ebor (Shah Alam) and exiting KLIA is rm5.50 but this driver put rm7.40 instead. I dunno till I saw my e-receipt since I pay it thru my credit card. As a driver myself, I never did such thing. I overcharged my rider once.Principle wise, I made a complaint to Grab CC eventhough it was a minimal amount and Grab credited back the difference into my cc. On that day, there was discount for highway toll. I wasn't aware of it and still charged full fee. I only realized my mistake on my way back. Anyway, in the case of Evilson, Grab should investigate properly. |

Today I am a rider again.
The driver told me his wife was also doing grab. He rented a car, but found the fee too steep. He was considering to discontinue the rental, and share a car with his wife instead - meaning, they would drive at different times. |

QUOTE(yhtan @ Mar 17 2019, 03:24 PM) I think they cannot tahan with the amount they have to compensate, imagine 1mil ride like this, putih putih give out RM3mil just for rider's attitude or other problem. So-called merger was just a face-saving narrative for Uber. The reality was it retreated from the market. I don't think Uber staff were transferred to Grab. And yet it took 1 year after merger with Uber to implement such policy. Tambah another RM3 is just freaking difficult for the programmer. Anyway, delay in enforcing cancellation fee is more a business consideration rather than programming difficulty. |

Some drivers support cancellation fee, others don't. It's hard to be Grab
Last time Uber cancellation fee was RM5 (driver got RM3.75), but minimum fare was RM3. Many drivers abused it. Now Grab cancellation fee is RM3 (all goes to the driver), while minimum fare is RM5. I think this is just right. |

QUOTE(nasrulbond @ Mar 24 2019, 09:51 AM) Thanks for the replies guys! Now finally got the idea lol. If you are waiting for interview, just grab. You won't earn a lot. But at least you keep yourself busy. What i mean by part time is, im just working on flexible hours ( 7am-4pm) for 6 days maybe, before i get the call for my interview. And yeap, im planning to drive a new car also lah, barai eh? 😅 oh ya, im based on kota kinabalu also. So my expectation is,as long as i can earn a little and pay for my car thats enough for me, because i dont have any idea on any jobs that gives good income or fast income like grab. But the regulations kinda makes me think la is it worth do it or not. If not, better dont issue car lah kan? |
