most common reason is rider used app auto detect location w/o double checking address
if driver good heart go & pick up, normally rider hentam with low rating....so can’t blame driver

For Grab driver the accuracy of phone GPS is quite important, once u out a bit then u unable to cancel with no show because system lock in about 20m around the point only. Like it or not i also advise rider to double check on their location, if they lcly then i'll stop with my words, let them kena RM3 cancellation fee.

the rider may intentionally put different pick up point because Asia Jaya 2 his destination fare is higher or a lot higher than from Luther Centre
similar to midvalley north entrance vs north point residence scenario

did u drive back to guard house? pick up pin might be there rather than the lobby inside.
there was one time I reach a land property, press cxl pax no shown no appear. drive away do one rounding. 50m-100m b4 reaching same pick up, I press cxl again, this time “pax not shown” pop up. no sure reason

this morning reach one of the condo in Bangsar south...guard house while waiting 4 guard to take down my detail, press “I have arrived” thingy...app said no u belum sampai
Go inside pick up rider at lobby D. press “I have arrived”...again, app said sorry man, u belum sampai
so i meesage rider “hello, I am here”. Rider replied “ I am coming”. Press “I have arrived” thingy.....this times suddenly it works although we never move away from lobby
our driver app can faham our message one? lol

boss, it depends on which building...some 1-2 km away also can press I have arrived, some once we reach or close to guard house, some need to go inside baru can press, some reach lobby inside (could be few hundred meter away from guard house) baru can...and some condo both lobby and guard house also tak boleh.
may be they pinned pick up point inside the building or like some1 said here phone gps and location sensitivity. this issue more pertinent to condo and shopping mall.

about your 2nd point, should be pick up point as in the app but subjected to those thingy i mentioned earlier.

SEKATAN akaun pemandu perkhidmatan e-hailing Grab adalah pilihan terakhir selepas semua langkah diambil termasuk mendapatkan penjelasan daripada penumpang dan pemandu Grab berhubung sesuatu isu.

Ketua Operasi Grab Malaysia Rashid Syukor berkata, pihaknya perlu memahami situasi yang berlaku antara kedua-dua pihak iaitu penumpang dan pemandu sebelum mengambil sebarang tindakan.

Menurutnya, itu langkah yang diambil sebelum pihaknya mengeluarkan amaran, menggantung perkhidmatan dan menyekat akaun pihak yang bersalah.

“Justeru, banyak peluang yang diberikan sebelum sesuatu tindakan diambil dalam usaha meningkatkan mutu perkhidmatan Grab,” katanya kepada Harian Metro.

Menurutnya, pemantauan dan kerangka disiplin Grab amat ketat dengan mengambil kira pelbagai data sebelum sesuatu tindakan diambil.

“Data ini berdasarkan pemantauan berterusan terhadap matriks perilaku dan keselamatan selain aduan dari pelanggan,” katanya.

Katanya, bagaimanapun, sekiranya ada pemandu yang merasakan tindakan sekatan akaun mereka tidak adil, pemandu boleh membuat rayuan kepada Grab.

“Grab akan menilai setiap rayuan berdasarkan kes demi kes seperti kebiasaannya,” katanya.

Terdahulu, Pengerusi Komuniti Pemandu e-hailing Penggerak Malaysia (KPePM) Zulkefli Zainuddin mendakwa lebih 5,000 akaun pemandu perkhidmatan e-hailing Grab disekat tanpa diberikan peluang membela diri.

Menurutnya, antara alasan yang terima pemandu yang disekat adalah akibat penilaian yang rendah dan aduan daripada penumpang.
