Some shops still prefer cash payment. So maybe Grab gets some fee from shops.

the fee not necessary paid to grab directly.

it could be payment gateway that offer the grab payment, eg eghl or ipay or revenue, etc these providers are the one charging the merchants, but back to back they also pay a certain fee to grab (like revshare model)

Yeah , I just received the rewards after few hours. Transaction Rm50 only got 14 points.

it is new norm on reward. already move away from using grabwallet. only good to use when use grabfood/grabcar.

Did they change how grabpoints earning work for grabfood?
I made a transaction via grabpay and got less points than I expected.

I expected payment amount x 0.75 (non grabunlimited) = points earned
But I got roughly x 0.55-0.60 instead
Are there any part of the payment that doesn't earn points? Like delivery charges or taxes.

Nope, still the same, at least for my account. My plan just expired and I received 2 0.75 for my payment.

But there were once or twice whereby the points given were lesser/incorrect, just make a complaint to Grabpay and hopefully you will be assigned to a good customer service officer to assist. Else, they might just close your case by providing some lousy unreasonable excuses.
