Late to the party. But how does GrabPay and e-Pay game actually work? Both can link together? I only use GrabPay but don't know about e-pay.

Thank you. Manage to utilise the onlinedeals to pay Unifi bill. Hopefully one day they can add in Digi postpaid.

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Aug 9 2020, 09:23 PM)
Thanks.

QUOTE(cucikaki @ Aug 10 2020, 07:12 PM)
That is one bill acc per day.

I can pay astro unifi sarawak energy and kuching waterboard all in one day.

But i cant pay 4 times sarawak energy bills to the same account number per day.

That what was explained by the CS.
*
This is surely to counter people paying small amount in multiple transaction.

When did u use the onlinedeals code?
*
Just after GrumpyNooby and ClarenceT replied my post.

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Aug 12 2020, 09:12 AM)
Should use -RM5 first (auto applied) before ONLINEDEALS.

1st transaction: RM50 got -RM5, pay RM45.
2nd/3rd transaction: RM65 -RM20, pay RM45.

Spend on Unifi only (including advance payment).
Don't spend on Sarawak Energy and Air Kuching because you have other options to pay.
*
Yes I also did advance payment for Unifi. 31% is a good deal. But I made a mistake of not using the RM5. Straight away use onlinedeals.

QUOTE(GrumpyNooby @ Aug 12 2020, 09:13 AM)
What is that RM 5 auto applied deal for?
*
It is for first time e-Pay user using GrabPay.

No. I dont think so
1. Yes - reload. Get 5x. So rm100 = 500 point.
2. Spend using grabpay (if platinum) , get 3x = 300. But this also the case now. So no different
The different only 500 when reload. How often u reload using grabpay. Not all merchant accept grabpay.

If they bring grabpay card, then the MasterCard can use anywhere..

So conclusion the deal suck!

1k when sign up . That only RM5
Spend 300 , get rm 50 for grab use.

Let look on others:

You get 5x points on every RM1 spent on Grab transactions; -> i pay using grabpay , got 3x. So only extra 2 point
2x points on overseas, cross-border, and e-commerce spend; -> this one extra 1 point
and 1x points for every RM3 spent on other expenditure -> almost same as other credit card

Lastly, redemption on grab is limited compare to Maybank treat redemption.

Wah liao eh, i think i apply Lazada card can get more benefit when apply the card.

It is wrong move grab!!!! With grabpay card not coming, mean your wallet is limited to merchant with grab use.

Other credit card more value..
*
Haha, I just use PB Quantum to topup Grab is enough.

They wont bank in the amount. They will just refund back to your credit card.

Not sure why the person so hard to get refund. I usually req for refund said i no longer need the money in as when i make payment my phone died. So unable to utilise the amount. They will refund back the money to the credit card within 15 working days.

Of course the above not the real reason. Why i ask refund is whenever i try SCB RM10 campaign topup RM100 but if no more reward then ill req for refund.
*
This could be another reason why it's hard for them to refund. The game of CC CB.

if they refund to bank acc. yes. but now they refund back to CC. u wont gain cashback on that transaction too. and there's no game. you only have one window to ask for refund, i.e. for SCB cashback, hsbc etc.and not everyone will do it as only a few will.

if u said u topup fail, then they will try investigate why the topup fail. etc etc.

just now like, u cant put rm20 topup amount even u select cards option, u have to click intended credit card to topup then u can enter rm20.

reported this yesterday and they say they will investigate ask for video recording etc, they just trying to solve ur issue. just say ask for refund due no no usage in future. done. no question asked. - but self solved before they even come out with the solution. they just working there without experiencing the apps first hand. just like u working in huawei store, but the working is using iphone.
*
haha, most are like that. Don't even mention if you cannot login, no one there can't solve your problem if you don't bang the table loud enough.

QUOTE(Kyan0411 @ Sep 10 2020, 11:48 AM)
I also had 5 x rm100 top up using SCB but all failed.
Bank said not their issue cause approved on their side, the money is floating now.

Grab said not their issue too cause apparently i can top up successfully using other cards. But they did reject the transactions so that money refunded back to SCB card
*
Hope you get your refund soon. Sometimes chassing after those CB sometimes only adds to more headache.

PayLater is not really new. I have been using it since late last year. They market it as postpaid service. The instalment part however is new.

Back in April I received an email saying that Grab will end the trial for PayLater but they later retracted the decision to stop PayLater. Instead by May they increased my PayLater limit from RM300 to RM600. And a few days ago after the mass rollouts, my credit limit is increased to RM1,000.

So the GrabPoint given after paying the bill every month?

Anyone received message below?
Grab deactivated my account despite I explained to them that I just help my relative to go through IC verification due to fault of her camera & login to my mobile phone.

------------------------------------------

RM0 It has come to our attention that there have been suspicious transactions on your Grab account, which is in breach of the Passenger Terms of Use. We have conducted an internal investigation of such transactions and regret to inform you that due to this breach of the Passenger Terms of Use, your appeal is unsuccessful and your Grab passenger account will remain deactivated. At Grab, we aim to provide a safe environment to our Passengers and Grab Driver-Partners. For more information, please refer to our Passenger Terms of Service. Thank you.

------------------------------------------

Grab didnot bother about my appeal & explanation since 2 weeks ago.

*
The moment you login to someone else Grab account with your phone, that's the end of it. Yes unfair to assume every such cases as suspicious transactions, but that is how Grab deal with it and nothing you can do unless you manage to speak to insider with higher position.
A friend of mine is in this situation and the appeal since 2018 until now just falls on
deaf ears.

Do you friend managed to recover the balance & points in the Grab account?

I am thinking that can we make complain to Bank Negara on it? Since I have some balance amount in the account.

*
She do not use grabpay so no money lost, just cannot use grab with that phone number anymore. I think you may try the Grab call center, if still unable to recover then lodge a report to BNM. Keep us updated.

i mean what if u bought a 2nd hand phone, whereby the previous user already used grab?

I think should be ok if you already format the phone. It could be that they only suspicious if you login and log out more than 1 account.
