QUOTE(xperiaDROID @ Nov 28 2018, 08:53 PM) Even the normal mom and pop stationery shop near my place is Boosted! Why do u need to show ur success to cashier? Isn't that they should check on their account instead? If they never check their account live, one can simply create a dummy app to show success screenBtw there's something Boost has to improve on, which is the sensitivity level for shaking rewards... Every time when I wanna show the "Success" screen to confirm my payment, I gotta be careful and close the pop up cuz even a slight movement can trigger the shake, it's just too sensitive. |

But I totally agree on the dummy app part. This post has been edited by xperiaDROID: Nov 28 2018, 09:27 PM |

It's just a small ordinary stationery shop, not the big ones.Too bad 7-11 and family mart no boost yet. Doubt 7-11 is gonna accept Boost anytime soon cuz they still gotta stick with Razer Pay even if nobody uses it, but I'm hoping for Familymart. |

Hope that Jaya Grocer will accept Boost too. They recently started accepting TnG e-wallet, maybe it's because CIMB is their merchant acquirer.

GHL is the CC POS manufacturer. Same as Watson but the bank acquirer is MBB. GHL extension barcode scanner should be able to support Scan & Pay method of e-wallet. It's the big batlle between the two as of now: Boost (Axiata) vs TnG e-wallet (TnG Digital + ANT Financial). This post has been edited by David83: Nov 28 2018, 10:00 PM |

Pardon my ignorance, but where can I find this yellow pie icon and green tick icon ? ThanksHas the "yellow pie" icon changed to "green tick" icon? |

Razerpay i think is a bit dead? 7-11 accepts alipay so the system is definitely there to support boost or tng e wallet. Familymart i thought one time i saw the cashier scanning some qr code though. Probably alipay. This post has been edited by Neptern: Nov 28 2018, 10:21 PM |

I went to the shop this morning, and was wondering if they will ever accept Boost so wanted to ask the boss about it but decided not to cuz I was lazy to ask and then explain in case he doesn't know. But then I went there again earlier tonight and saw the qr code at the counter lol... It's like they can read minds. QUOTE(ck_tonny @ Nov 28 2018, 10:27 PM) Be a good user, return it. |

QUOTE(xperiaDROID @ Nov 28 2018, 11:46 PM) Since their terminal is CIMB, and it supports e wallet, the scanner should probably be GHL like the one in Tesco I guess? all integration is done by GHL, they've been actively integrating with ewallet players into their system, so that their POS merchants "instantly" gets connected to variety of ewallet. without GHL's part, each merchant need to integrate directly with each ewallet, which is tedious, time consuming, etc.Other e wallets should be supported soon. QUOTE(Neptern @ Nov 29 2018, 07:22 AM) I think bnm or the government should take more action to encourage mobile payment usage. Thought we already have a unified qr code in place like in Singapore? sometime next year. this year is early stage of ICTF which encompasses few payment initiatives.duitnow is actively promoted because banks are "forced" to go live by year 2018 |
