How are they gonna solve the charges that will be imposed on the smaller merchants by the bank?
It's easy for these smaller merchants to accept e wallets since the MDR will be either none or just like a little, but as for cards, it's gonna be more than that right?
But it's a good initiative, I enjoyed the experience when I was in R&R at Ayer Keroh.
that's the conundrum when going cashless. It's easy for these smaller merchants to accept e wallets since the MDR will be either none or just like a little, but as for cards, it's gonna be more than that right?

merchants are being onboarded by boost/banks, then have to bear the MDR
unless these fees are subsidized by PLUS by offsetting from the rental? just guessing.
also, most small merchants/traders are reluctant to go cashless due to transparency (sales value, volume, traffic). unless PLUS has no view of the merchant's transactions and sales value, then OK. if the merchant onboarding is tied to PLUS (as master merchant), then PLUS has overall view to all its participating merchants/traders in the R&R locations.
