How long it takes for the shell cashbacks to be credited? Last time I pumped on 30 May for RM40, currently still haven't receive the cashbacks.

QUOTE(rojakwhacker @ Jun 13 2019, 08:51 PM) Either wait or bla at boost facebook for cashback issue. I have no idea what to do if already reported and no result yet, maybe others can try help. Probably you went to shell station that does not participate in this boost x shell campaign? I check on the participating stations list before going to pump lol... |

QUOTE(funnyTONE @ Jul 10 2019, 09:14 PM) The sad reality of Malaysian ewallet ecosystem. Just about every online store got their own ewallet and not willing to accept others. Gonna wait for lelong pay, mudah pay, Lazada pay... |

QUOTE(xperiaDROID @ Jul 17 2019, 02:18 PM) How are they gonna solve the charges that will be imposed on the smaller merchants by the bank for accepting card payments? Don't think the charge matter much since it is based on percentage. It's easy for these smaller merchants to accept e wallets since the MDR will be either none or just like a little, but as for cards, it's gonna be more than that right? But it's a good initiative, I enjoyed the experience when I was in R&R at Ayer Keroh. Should be around 0.6-0.8% for local debit cards and 1.3-2.5% for local credit cards. Such the irony tho, TnG (both card and ewallet) should have dominated this long time ago. |

QUOTE(xperiaDROID @ Jul 17 2019, 02:59 PM) Basically lots of things for PLUS to consider to successfully make their R&R's fully cashless... Wait till everyone else died in this market and you will see MDR spiking up. Refer to case Grab v Uber. During the time when I was in Ayer Keroh R&R, 9/10 merchants accepted Boost, so it's not entirely complete yet. But then again, e wallets won't be an issue since the MDR is little to none, unless the merchant itself is too stingy or not doing well in business. However, accepting card payments will be hard, there's a reason why smaller merchants that we see around us nowadays don't accept card payments as opposed to countries like Korea or Europe which rely on cards in almost everywhere. That will be a different story then. Majority of Malaysians use CC more often, it will probably be a big deal for smaller merchants as they have to get charged by the bank at that rate, unless their business is doing very well. |
