I know it’s quite obvious that watsons not under departmental category.

But because I saw few outlets stated in the first page, so I have tried it buying on watsons app and paying with OTP requested. (Paid with Quantum Visa)

Surprisingly I got the cashback for the purchase via watsons app.

Since then, I thought all watsons will be entitled for the 5% cashback.

Conclusion
Watsons app (I received 5% cashback)
Watsons Bandar Puteri Puchong beside Secret Recipe (I received 5% cashback)
Watsons IOI City Mall (No receive)

Called and asked, it’s under departmental MCC 5311, for that particular purchase via watsons app.

But not surprising, cause I memang did received the 5% cashback.

It looks like the Watsons app is using that MCC code.

It cannot be one day it uses MCC ABCD, the following week it uses MCC WXYZ.
