They could have earned a lot more if the cash back pool doesn't deplete so quickly and people keep spending throughout the week, hoping to get a share of the cash back pool. That scenario that you have just mentioned isn't the best case scenario.
*
There's a long feedback loop for that though. The perception of 'got chance' which prompts people to spend will last until the customer realises that actually no chance. Some would blur blur just never realise. Those who do realise will either give up or search around and find the methods we've been using here.

In the end only PBB will know whether there's a drop in spending after BigPay reload became widespread. If there is a significant drop in customer spend then likely to modify T&C.

Those should be considered as Retail. Departmental category should refer to those large stores like Aeon, Parkson, Isetan etc.

there specific mcc for these outlets, more like clothing/fashion/sports apparel categories.

QV only accepts Departmental, which is GMS (general merchandise store) which provides variety of products like fashion, household items, electrical appliances, etc.

MCC 5651 - Family Clothing Stores:

MCC 5661 - Shoe Stores:

There was 1 Chinese medicine megashop that was classified as Dept store in PJ but it has moved.

Fair enough, but getting at least 5% off EVERYTHING including insurance premiums and college fees is just too good to ignore

Not everyone is willing to give a copy of their IC without any watermarks. And I've heard some managed to get through with watermarks, but they kept rejecting mine.

there is no one best card out there. that's why u see banks have so many credit cards selections. what is useful to you, may not be to others - and vice versa.

If I apply BT at PBB. Mean PBB will help me pay my MBB credit card let say 3k.

After that I need to pay 3k devide 12months to PBB every month?

Will it affect my PBB credit limit?

Yes - 3k divide 12 each month. The "money" is taken from your PBB credit card. Total cedit limit remains the same, but available limit will reduce by 3k.

flex payment, call for cash, bt etc all the same concept.
you will pay the one time fee for this case is RM0 then every month pay the total/tenure month.
let's say your credit limit is RM10k, it will become RM7k and next month will become RM7250.
