Dont know why people want to work in this company.
It's an outsourced data processing center with odd working hour & low pay.
Say bye2 to your social life when you need to work at 4pm to 1am.
And they can anytime close your department & send the work to India.
By then your experience is useless since there aren't much shared business organization in Malaysia.

Yes because Malaysian labour are cheaper. Many call centre jobs outsourced to cheaper country such as India, Philipines, Malaysia, etc...

AMEX office in Malaysia also supporting client in Singapore. Calls from Singapore will be routed to Malaysia.

FYI, AMEX Malaysia also support many other countries other than Malaysia and S'pore. Indonesia, HK, Australia, NZ among others. I had experience working in AMEX many moons ago. Happy memories if you don't mind the shifts.

Not sure why people kept thinking there is only UK shift in this company. The truth was there were abudance is 9 - 6, 10 - 7, 7 - 4 shifts.

If by the time the center got closed and you can't get a job, it is not the center knowledge is useless. It is you who are useless cause can't even pick up anything for the duration you work there. whistling.gif whistling.gif

no bro, it is more analytics compare with customer services and the skills are high demanding in market. It would not be hard in the interview just be prepare with the questions such as what is sanction, money laundering 3 steps, sanction country and criminal activities, regulatory body like ofac, un and eu. If you are under taiwan, hang seng or hong kong team, you will have 300 additional allowance upon you passed certificate of competence which you will attempt after 6 weeks of training. All the best for your undertaking.
