hope u rmb who told u that u got the job & call back HR for her/him. It happened to me too, u nid to call back, sometimes they juz missed out things.

lol, no everyone celebrate CNY, i dono if its a Publicholiday for HR or not, but it's certainly not for me.

Just been phone interviewed this evening, and he said according to my credits and english, I'm a suitable candidate for them. He asked me to come over to hsbc bursa for assessment and face to face interview this 31st. He even said that he'll recommend me to credit approval and risk management position.

May I know what the odd for getting this job ? I even asked my friend who worked there to help me a bit.

Sorry, I know this is hsbc GSE but I applied for the trainee software engineer - IT security post in jobstreet and got a call from them for casual chat and got to know its based in front of masjid jamek. I wonder do I get chance for this job? Currently interested to stay back in kl...i applied to other company outside of KL as well

been there as GSE Offshore. All I can tell you, good environment, good benefits. Salary also not bad but working on shift was troublesome to me cos I've family and staying away from Cyberjaya.

Anyway, if you hv determination, you will succeed. Regret that I have to leave the place, my boss was so much fun and she already told me that I hv big potentials in HSBC.

Anyway, all da best to all in GSE or coming to be GSEs...

just came back from hsbc cyberjaya...
that HR person assigned me to the department which is to calculate the dividend, interest rate and so on.....
BUT!!
i study e-commerce and marketing and i wonder why HR assigned me to this department...when the interviewer ask me to calculate here and that..what is securities, par value those things...i stun there...i cant answer..coz i only study one subject about finance during my four years studies...summore that subject i study was two years ago...i almost forget all the things...and i not interested in finance as well..

then i ask the HR why you assign me to the department then she answer me that you study e-commerce should be no problem..then i told her my e-commerce is more on wed designing and theory...then she silent and just said nvm...then walk away..>.< OMG!!! can i request change department or not huh? i think i gonna fail the interview...haizzzzz

hmm, i don think u can request for dept changes since i DID that last time, and still i'm being put in the initial dept. btw, which dept is that? sounds interesting.

Unlucky... unfortunately sometimes things get done wrongly here

what is DID??
if not mistaken...is corporate action department..to calculate dividend for the business partner..must be very sensitive to numbers...before he ask me about the finance question..he still said good..but after that...&#&%%^$&...haiz....
coz i honest tell them that i not good in maths.
that HR got very big problems!!

i wanna ask right ..
if i m currently put under contact centre, is it possible for me to request to transfer to other department after working for few months, other department such as corporate action or sumthin cuz i m pretty good in maths n finance ???
cuz i dont want to stay at contact centre forever

why dont wan to stay at call center?
my frens said very relax and no stress one woh...hhahahha

I'd like to know which contact center you're talking about .. cause it ain't all fun and games.
