Going interview at 1st of dec,any tips for interview?

There are no allowances for UK backend as far as I know. I think only call centre gets allowances here.

GBM is global banking/markets. General banking sounds like general processing. Correct me if I'm wrong.
During interviews with your future manager, always ask which dpt you're going into, or at least know the name/title of the team you will be joining. Global support exec covers everything. It's not a specific dpt, so pls make sure where you'll be placed before you join.
For those waiting for acceptance, please don't wait more than 2 weeks after your final interview with the manager. Just call or email the HR rep who liased with you after your assessment.
Hiring process:
1. Phone interview
2. Assessment - english test done on computer
3. HR interview
4. Manager interview

So we need to go to HSBC for several times? How long it takes to after HR interview to Manager Interview?

Currently waiting for interview results with HSDM..got interviewed mid Dec 2011, but until now they say they are interviewing other candidates as well...perhaps that I ask to much in salary?

Just collect offer letter from HSBC CYB last wed. They gave me a piece of paper which contains some info in which dept I will be placed.

I have no idea is this GBM? It doesn't state anything about market though.

The dept is General Banking & Services while General Processing is the section, isnt it?

Correct me if im wrong

I just had my first week at KLC in UK Crest Settlement and I found the people there very friendly and nice to me since l am new and I already adapt to their environment in just one week,I love my job.anyone from KLC also?

If the Pic attached from the offer letter, i suggest u take it down.
Anyway, tat means u're under GP. (from my understanding, GP include payment,trade,credit&risk etc..correct me if im wrong)
and the team u're going will be reveal during ur global induction@CYB.

why my induction date stat a bit late from ejat666 even we've signed the offer letter on the same day? n same post under General Processing..does anyone know?
