Nearest LRT station is Plaza Rakyat. It's a 5 minute walk from there to the Bursa Saham building - just cut through Maybank's parking lot.

I was just called by HSBC Cyberjaya like 20 mins ago,
the girl told me to go for the final interview, and want me confirm to take the job or not, then I ask about the salary lo

she said they can offer around RM1750 - 1900 only,

I was shock

then I ask, arent there any allowance?

"Yes, we have, for some performance and language allowance (I can speak Chinese & Cantonese), but all the ALLOWANCE WOULD ROUGHLY RM200+- only"

I was like, watttt??? RM200 language allowwance?

yup, it's true the allowance can hit up to RM500-RM600, depends on which dept are u. For HSS & GBM, got higher basic plus allowance (basic is 2.1k + allowance), for call centre, if you're in trilingual (Canto, mand & eng), the sal is (basic+language allw +skill allw +night shift allow).

thats the prob in Msia...so knitty picky...which one is important? starting salary or experience?

Im gonna start wrk soon, just finish my induction, HSS is more into securities, where by u deal with cash transaction,cash management,detection and shares,which is what im gonna do. Whereas GBM u deal with equities,derivatives and so on. Im not very sure on GBM but its pretty much the same as HSS and i heard both departments are on the verge of combining. If u are a degree holder it is best u get in to these kinds of department as you will definitely learn alot and i heard RBC DEXIA are head hunting HSBC employees from this dept and offering them RM3K basic plus 1k allowances, but u need to have at least more than a year or 2 wrking experience.
