It shouldn't be a problem to have a cinema in Shah Alam. There's one in IRDKL Mall Jalan Serai Wangi. Also, not forgetting Setia City Mall, which is technically under Shah Alam.
So I think Elmina City Centre can have it if they SD wanted to.

visit denai alam for DASH progress yesterday, confirm the entry to DASH (kl direction) will be nearby Fella, exit still no sight to proof yet

one highrise project name Habitus was built between high tension cable and GCE (near to bukit subang interchange)

i guess is this

In Shah Alam, there are only 2 exceptional zones that can have entertainment outlets, one is Setia Alam and One in I City.

The rest the local laws are applicable unless SDP apply exception from the state government, which is not that easy.

Just hope for the best......

Elmina City is considered outskirt of Shah Alam. There's possibility of a Cinema going up in Elmina, considering the surrounding population. But that can be 5 years from now.

I would prefer a neighborhood mall similar to Centerpoint in Bandar Utama & Sunway Giza in KD.

Agreed, nowadays are not easy to maintain big mall....as long as the size is decent with good mix of tenants profile that can offer the best convenience to the local community I think is good enough.....Since, Elmina area is still pretty new, therefore no point to plan for a big mall for now. better reserve for future expansion.

the traffic along GCE towards Federal Highway is noticeably heavier starting early this year. I believe this is caused by more housing area opened along the GCE. Maybe some people moved in during the school holiday, and contributes to the traffic now. Traffic will only get worse from now on, at least until DASH is completed.

mostly caused by pre cny shopping crowd... every year also like this one especially days before big festivals.... haha.... but no doubt... more and more users using GCE mainly due to the main road out of puncak alam/shah alam jam like nobody business due to DASH construction and alot of ppl have divert to other routes to exit....

I got to know someone who bought a unit for rm1.2mil. Terrace intermediate with courtyard / air well. Can be so expensive? Which type can this unit be?
