Guys, I noticed that under today screen, there's Calender (on the left) and Contacts (On the Right). Is that anyway that I can change it to other thing say Call History? I find the calender is not useful for myself.

XCPUScalar allows you to dynamically scale the processor speed of your handheld Pocket PC 2002, Windows Mobile 2003, WM2003 SE, and Windows Mobile 5. It uses the power of the XSCALE or TI OMAP (OMAP850 and OMAP1510) processor and unlocks its dynamic scaling capabilities. You can scale the processor speed from 100 to 728MHz. By scaling the processor speed down, you can increase the battery life between recharges or increase the speed when you need more power for playing games or multimedia programs that require more CPU power.

my first PDA, had some hard time playing wif it but after half a day with the phone on my hand...pretty familiar wif it ...still more application that i need to play wif...

got myself a GPS with MAPKING....OK onli...reason is..i still need to learn how to actually use it....kinda useful for a person who doesnt no the road well...but for me...i reached my intended place even b4 they could advise me...but the voice navigation is really cool....

ring tone can be accepted....but i think the alarm is not up to my expectation...it doesnt serve as an alarm...volume too low..cannot set mp3 as alarm..u have to stick to it...if anybody here knows how to do it...please advise.

overall, i give 8/10 to this phone....

Shall i wait for this one? With keypad... and 3G

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EqPSyc-zTs&mode=user&search=

Currently I'm using o2 mini...bored oredi...and bcause im using "Letter recogniser" to write sms, one part of the screen has bcome very not sensitive..extremely hard to write text now.

Thinking to change to Touch...but heard a newer Touch with keypad is going to be out... Shall I wait for that? I'm not really using 3g yet. my concern is they keypad..cause i don wan d screen to spoil like my o2 mini screen from writing too much.

Any writing software that similar like normal handphone keypad...but big enough to finger press...so we can sms like a normal phone. If there is such software...then i think there is no need for me to wait for the keypad version, since it sure cost a bomb. shakehead.gif

ohyeah.. it seems some of d ppl here r Ex Mini User... How much will it cost if I sell my mini now? haha. 2 years..out look condition should say..Horrible~ rm 300?

another thing i wanna change pda is bcause.. Mini camera is d worst hp camera ever! i hardly use it.. mad.gif

My Touch laaaaaaags while playing video files..any solution to that?
I am using the TCPMP 0.72RCI with the Decoder patches from XDA-Developers to play my video files, but it lags so much. Any ideas to resolve that issue?

Hey congrats upon getting the new and cool HTC touch! haha...
anyway i have the same opinion as you on the alarm, and i personally thing the default alarm was far below my expectation.

But no worries, as i have tried this alarm software that is pretty good i must say.. and its free so feel free to try it out.
http://www.itv.sk/winco/Download/ALC2007.cab

It does not allow you to use other songs as your alarm tone, but you can simply copy and paste a wav file into the sounds folder in this software to enable the use of the wav file. So far i havent try other formats yet, but i am sure that a wav file will work.

Have fun with your htc!

no prob :]

i usually have some annoying long mp3 sounds as my alarm.

but you can't use a full song as an alarm ;/ it won't show in your alarm drop down sounds. but you can use it for some other notifications.
